Again... where does it say 30%? It would be nice to get a bit of help here. I'm at the payment part but I don't want to fully go through since I haven't seen anything about a 30% cashback.

To get 30% make sure your adblocker is off, then go to bing.com and search for the term hp, first result (the ad) will say Bing Cashback 30%, just click that and you'll get a nice popup detailing it. Make sure you're not in a student account, or if you are that you don't see the HPA tag - that voids the BCB. People've been saying they see the BCB credit more or less instantly so worst to worst you could probably just call and cxl the order before it drops to factory.

To get the 30% just search "hp" on Bing and click on the the banner for HP's website that pops out. I also feel confident saying that 25% will not come back again after this so if you are gonna order I would do it soon. 30% is higher than it has ever been and to me that screams a farewell promotion

Just got another $150 credit, so I should be up to $426 in credits, plus $150 from various cashback programs.

However I think I'll still keep my second order, in case HP doesn't give me all those credits.

The BCB cashback will not show on your HP order page, or at checkout. Its a separate transaction between you and Bing.

You will see it only on your bing statement, and you do not get the cashback until after your unit ships.

Wow, I just called HP. After trying to explain to the rep what Bing Cashback is for, like, ten minutes I'm now on hold while she "checks her resources about this the bing cashback." She also somehow mangled my name to include the word , which made me laugh on the inside.

edit: came back and said "we have some rules to apply a 30% cashba - I mean, a 30% Bing Cashback"
edit 2: on hold again. I think that they may actually match this 30% thing on my order.

Just got my bing CB confirmation email. Like the previous person, it took about 10 minutes from when I placed the order. Still no email confirmation from HP on the order. Sure glad I waited. I would have been happy with the 25%.

this stacks on with the other credits that they give.

How much does it cost to ship the Envy within USA? I cant find it any where on the HP site? Im hoping its free so long as you don't want express postage?

Also, how long does the Bing cash back usually last?

i order kept everything stock except upgraded to the core i5 450, and ordered the 14.5 inch sleeve the cash back is 353 and when i get the cash back the laptop would have com out to around 940 dollars. adding an ssd will bring it to 1137 which is mighty tempting but oh well i will stay with the hdd for now and be happy i got it at this price.

 

I am taking the additional 10%, for a total of 20%, instead of the 30%. Heres why: 1)no reorder, 2) misc credits(pricematch,complaint,coupon) is 11% on current order.

Just called to see if they can match the 30% discount, although I did not get the full amount I did get $140 credit plus the $60 credit for the match on amazon and the academic discount $125. $325 is not to shabby to say the least. Think I can get more discount on the slice battery since I ordered it?

You can't turn off academic discount. You will need to create another profile with another email address. Just make sure that email matches your bing.com/cashback account email to make sure you get your discount. If you use your academic discount account bing will NOT give you your cashback.

 

Along with the Windows 7 question, to make sure that I don't have the academic discount on, it would show up under you saved x% right?

Just finished arguing with the HP rep about whether or not Bing Cashback was through the hp.com store or not. She offered me an $80 credit for the cashback match and the shipping issues (lolwut, really chick?) and I pressed it until I got put on hold again.
