Wasnt working last times I checked. Good news is that the new HP trackpad driver is pretty decent. 16.2.5 I think it is

I have an envy6 ultrabook and the trackpad is quite annoying to use under linux because if you touch it with your hand while in the middle of typing, it screws with the cursor and interferes with what youre typing. Also when you try to click on something the cursor will often move as you push in on the trackpad and youll completely miss the thing you were trying to click. Its not impossible to use but it's pretty freaking annoying. Has anyone else experienced the same?

If the trackpad is a Synaptics's one, you can try tweaking the driver using the synclient utility, to activate palm rejection:

    # Palm Detect
    synclient PalmDetect=1
    synclient PalmMinWidth=7

Tweak the PalmMinWidth value until you're comfortable.
