Hey folks, I have one question.

    ;)

I am from Europe and I`ll by this beautiful comp... :) So I would like to know what kind of DC adapter came with dv2000t? It is a multi-voltage or not? Will operate on voltages ranging from 100-240 volts or not?

    THX!

I ordered this model but after hours of playing with it I noticed a couple of things I didn't like. First the silver palm rests are a little on the sticky side, your palm does'nt glide on them, also the clik buttons are beveled and you finger slides off of them. The keypad has thin light letters on them, I like the bright white bold letters. All petty stuff but I ended up going with the dv5000t instead, good luck with yours it is a sharp lappy.

Yeah, it is multi voltage. MOst laptops these days can be used in many different countries, so the adaptors are generally multi voltage. The only thing that would be different is the wall socket type, so either get an adaptor to fit your type of socket and you should be good to go.

Yes, all HP laptops with Quickplay are capable of playing DVD's, mp3's stored in the shared music folder, pictures and videos(again stored in the shared pictures and video folder only) without booting into Windows.

This looks like the Crystal XP theme. I've got it installed as well. Download the "Vista Inspirat". Enjoy!
