Official AMD CCC 12.4 ATI Radeon? Video Card Drivers. They won't allow you to download driver through verification tool. Download this and install like a regular installation.

Will this be an improvement over Leshcat's 12.2 WHQL Unifl drivers? Thanks.

Just a little, although 12.4 is more buggy than 12.2 WHQL. Leshcat has the newer Intel integrated driver. But with 12.2 you won't be able to play BF3. In addition to 12.4, you will get higher idle GPU temperature than 12.2. Personally, I've installed 12.4 just to finish BF3 campaign mode and currently I'm thinking of downgrading drivers to 12.2 or even 12.1.

So leschat 12.2 doesn't run BF3, why? What are the disadvantages to 12.4? How high are we talking about when you say high idle temp?

Honestly at the moment, I wouldn't mind just going with 12.1 if it's the most stable. I'm currently on the HP drivers from November 2011, I think it's 11.8 but I'm not sure. Aside from blue screens every now and then from the driver crashing, I'm mostly fine. Is it worth it to update?

are the dv6t is different than dv6 ?
my laptop is dv6-6170se. if they were different that means that it doesnt suffer from the switchable graphics problem and no update is required ?
    thnx in advance

Is there anyone else using 12.4 official AMD drivers for 6770m? The problem is that when I turn on laptop (at cold start) the screen starts flickering so badly. And it stops when I stop using mouse. After a few times of restarting laptop fixes itself. Are there any suggestions apart downgrading to previous drivers?

I think I may have the dreaded Hardware Problem, My catalyst control centre window just refuses to start up, I see no CCC in the control panel and when I right click the CCC icon in the system tray I only see 1. Mobile Intel(R) HD Graphics.

I do see the Radeon HD in device manager however.

I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers (official ones from HP) and I've yet to open CCC. Playing Diablo is really laggy at even medium-low graphics with no other programs running...

    Any help will be welcome,

    Thanks in advance

i have having a problem with blu ray playback which seems to be related to the switchable graphics discussion.

all the software packages - HP media smart, Roxio, cyberlink cannot play a blu ray disc . Cyber gives error message that graphics card is the issue.

Any got any clues how to make the graphics card do the work versus the Intel

HP advised a factory restore !

    HP Pavilion dv6t-lt070av
    i7
    16GB ram
AMD Radeon HD 6770M 2GB (full HD)
    750 GB SATA (5400 rpm)

I went through a similar situation. Have you updated the DVD player software to anything OTHER than the official HP releases??? If so, I believe you can still get the Blu-Ray to work setting the graphics to Intel HD... otherwise revert back to what was sent originally on your machine... HP 'must' have made a modification that Cyberlink doesn't natively support... You SHOULDN'T need to do a full restore... pretty much ever

Hey there, has anyone tried to play Max Payne 3 on 6770m? Why do I rarely see horizontal lines, (like deinterlacing), especially in cutscenes, thanks! Btw, the game is awesome, optimization as well. :)
    Edit. Drivers: 8.95.5

the cutscenes were DESIGNED to have interlacing effect by the game developers.

Well I thought that someone will say that. I know about that effect (like blueish or something like that), but it is another thing. There is just about a few pixels width horizontal line with freezing pixels, it's quite hard to explain... But that's not a big problem, getting used to it, as the last chapter left :)

Hey guys, I have been having problems installing drivers on win8. The HP ones work fine, but when I tried to install leshcats (following the install guide) it BSOD'd and screwed up my install. Any help? I really want to update my drivers for the witcher 2 fix. I have a 6153cl with 6770m running win8 pro 64bit.
