I've ordered my T61 on 8/31. EST was 09/19.
Actually it has been shipped 09/08.
I took free ground shipping too, can't wait to get my hands on it.
According to person130, it shouldn't take much time to arrive to NJ.

btw, do all T61 come with 4-in-1 media cardreader? I don't remember if I've chose it, neither it appears in my order details. But now all available configurations of T61 on lenovo.com include this cardreader as an obligatory part... I'm a little bit confused at this point..

 

My package status shows "import scan" does that mean customs has been cleared or is it that customs are pending ?

Yes looks like "import scan" means customs has cleared, and finally the laptop is on its way over to me .....cant wait for tomorrow.

 

My brother's T61p came in the morning today.

Sucks cuz he got the a T61p with the same specs as mine for SO MUCH cheaper.

Damn you Labor Day sale.

Mine just came in

 

Ordered mine on 8/31/07, it came in today after taking a detour through Korea due to a UPS sorting error. It shipped on Thursday from HK and was in CA today, so I can't really complain. Now just need to figure out exactly how to get a good fresh install.

Per the numbers, looks like and LG screen (does seem a little dimmer than my old dell, but very clean in appearance) and the keyboard with the blue bumpers (NMB or something like that?).

All in all, completely satisfied at this point.

My lovely T61p has almost been delivered. Yes UPS tried today as their first attempt, but I called them to hold my packages until 9/20 . Why is the shipment so fast for somebody who really wants to wait. Anyway, nice UPS customer service.

Mine just shipped today 9/12. I ordered on 8/31, but had credit card problem (shipping address not in credit card profile). Just clear that up two days ago.

 

Mine just shipped today too 9/12. I ordered on the 9/2. I thikn it was because i called them up twice and they remembered me. They told me they would prob ship end of this month but instead it shipped the next day

 

dang apparently i picked the wrong memory and hd config cause otherwise mine is the same and it still hasnt shipped yet.
