Don't think so. It's much more likely that finally even nvidia themselves lost the overview over their renaming of chips, and nvs5100==fx880.
It was bound to happen one day...

The W510 build lets you do the 15.6" FHD Display (95% Gamut, 270nit) with LED Backlight and the SIM Card for AT&T: USA. The other display options give you a WWAN antenna. So if I do not get a screen with a WWAN antenna built in, will my WWAN work? or do I need to use an external WWAN? Anybody know the scoop on this? I have a W510 on order but I do not want to give up the FHD display, but at the same time I need a WWAN.

It appears so through the DP port. There's an additional Intel Display Audio listing in the device manager. I suspect it's necessary to enable that feature? I recall reading that was a new feature and to enable bitstreaming audio of BD movies through the video connection...

I know this may not exactly correlate with performance on the Thinkpad, but regarding processors, I think this article is very informative. In particular, the power consumption on the core i7-620m seems to be considerably higher. This is certainly something to consider.

Well, yes and no. Certainly it holds much more information about his processor. However, this review actually compares the other options in the exact same notebook (this is what makes this review extra-informative!). Both reviews are quite necessary, but in terms of selecting between the 520,540 and 620, the other review is a bit more helpful.

Did you end up picking this up and, if so, how is the fit?
