The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Wow, talk about speed! I ordered one on 8/30 and I cancelled my old T61p order (WUXGA) order today, which had an ESD of 9/14. I hope mine ships in two days like yours did...

    OK, just ordered another one. Canceled my WUXGA order from 7/25 ($1900).
    Ordered same specs and with EPP this time: $1300.
    $600 savings. Wow.
    /done bragging.

    sitting here refreshing every 5 minutes. This is the worst part of this order!

    Shipped this morning and its not in Ontario, California...

    To make matters worse, I leave tomorrow for 5 days so it'll be sitting here waiting for days :/
