This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Is the mSATA port SATA2 or SATA3?

    I heard the battery is not easy to remove. I saw the maintenance manual, the removal of battery needs a lot of removal of other components too.

    Are all S430 laptops with the old power-hungry GF108 based GT620M?

    Those who have the dedicated graphics, yep.
    If not, you have the S431. But it comes with an ugly ATI Radeon. :(
