Greets, just did a Win7 fresh install. Can anyone please point me to the Lenovo RapidBoot software? Or is that gone and irrecoverable now that I wiped the hard drive and did a reinstall? Cheers...

    Hi Guys,

I managed to get a y480 with the 650M DDR5 (chinese version) from eBay for ~£600. However I want to swap out the crappy 1399x768 screen for a 900p one, ala: Lenovo Y460 Screen Upgrade (1600 x 900) - YouTube. It seems insane to couple a reasonable mobile gfx card with a rubbish screen.

Does anyone know of anyone else with experience doing this? Anyone got any good links, tips or advice? Or shall I just take the plunge, get the screen linked in the video and see if I can replace it?
