When is your T400 expected to ship?

so based on what people have been saying it can take anywhere from a week to 11 days. 11 days is the trend i'm seeing though.

i ordered 9/22 and estimated ship is 10/6. but i'm hoping to receive it sometime next week and that the 10/6 ship date is way off.

 

Canada definitely takes a bit longer than the U.S. for sure. Especially if you live anywhere outside of Ontario (ALL of the shipments from Lenovo go there in bulk first, instead of having some on the East, and some on the West...).

Mine will be arriving tomorrow I think. No complaints here though, its been only 2.5 weeks since ordering!

arrived on the 24th.



So i am loving the t400.
but i have a quick question that i don't think needs it's own thread.


Is the connection loose where you connect the power cord to the laptop.

mine moves significantly up and down. the power does not cut out or anything but it freaks me out. Is it normal?

 

It seems like Lenovo has passed the back to school crunch and orders are beginning to ship more regularly. Ordered on the 12th and it will be here by Monday, only ten business days!

also a quick note i only paid for ups ground but recieved ups express because according to ups they dont support ground from where it was sent to my destination. Look at ups tracking. This is why some people are getting theres quicker then they think.

It has been shipped out this noon(ET).I'm trying to find if there is Ground service in Ohio, fingers crossed for a negative answer.

And finger crossed for a LG panel.

It seems Ground Service can only be from a US or Canada or Mexico or Virgin Islands to the above destination plus Guam.

 

yeh i ordereded the 22nd as well but wont get mine til Monday since i live in NY.

 

I just checked the UPS. They say the expected deliver date is Oct 3. I just don't get it.

 

Ordered 9/23 evening, shipped today. They were maybe a little too fast- I was calling to see if I could upgrade the wireless and found out I was too late.

 

Mine was shipped today too isnt it strange on a saturday?

 

Mine shipped on Saturday as well when I ordered last month.
Also the build time was only THREE days for mine. Ordered on Sunday midnight and shipped on Wednesday!!!

 

argh! stupid exception.

ordered on the 16th, said 30th estimated. took a week to do the billing, and still shipped on the 27th. Not too bad considering they were then saying 10/12 est ship.

but now UPS is getting owned by, customs i guess.

 

got mine today. took exactly 1 week from order to receive.

It means it's coming through customs, so you might as well sit back and relax since there's nothing anyone can do about it.

Gigya, i have no idea what it really means, i just figured it was customs. Here's what you can look forward to.

UPS cracks me up. Expedited for me also.

 

Updated the delivery date to 10/2. As of last night, it was still scheduled for delivery today, 10/1. Tomorrow looks like it might be realistic based on the tracking info. its the 2nd "import scan" so my guess is it had to go through two different import or customs processes, and now its released.

 

The path my Thinkpad took in Louisville. It might still be there.

Any new updates, I ordered on 9/30 was quoted 10/14 and just spoke to customer service rep who said its now 10/20. Is anyone getting delayed like this. I was holding out hope that lenovo might actually ship a computer within the initial time frame they estimate, but after a disastrous u330 experience I'm wondering if they even sell computers anymore or if its just a grand social experiment to see how long they can keep stringing people along...

 

I ordered on 9/23 and had estimated ship date on 10/7 - which is tomorrow. I called them up just now and they said that no real progress had been made on the order at all.

I don't know exactly what is going on over there - but the guy said that he "escalated" the order - which may not mean anything at all. But I'm supposed to get an e-mail about it in a COUPLE of days.

Maybe one thing to note is that I used a CPP offer - I don't know if they are prioritizing non-discounted orders over discounted orders, but if anyone else has had a similar experience, it would be interesting to see if there is a trend.

 

I just ordered today and my estimated ship date is 10/20. I'm anxious, and I want it NOW . . . but I also lurked these forums for quite a while before buying, so I know that the 10/20 ship date isn't something I should put a lot of faith into.

I think I saw somewhere that orders with the 9-Cell seem to take longer? Has anyone heard that?

 

I got mine on Thursday, October 2nd.

As an aside: I LOVE IT.

 

Same here, there's 7days holiday in china from Sep-29th to Oct-5th. Hope this will not delay our orders.
