All right, then, I'm dropping Imgburn from my Bookmarks and adding BurnCDCC.

Sorry, Calvin, if I'm wandering afield of your original subject :)

The BurnCDCC website says it'll work up to/including xp. It doesn't work in vista?

I believe Calvin used it in Vista without any problems whatsoever, but let's wait and see what he says to be sure.

If it's not your cup o' tea, forget it. But for some of us, it's a friggin' obsession....if I didn't game, I wouldn't even have Windows on my lappy at all.

OKay nice, can't wait to try it.

In last 4 years, I've tried RedHat, FC6, Suse.... none of them worked on my 2 desktops. Well, the network card's drivers didn't and those 3 didn't support NTFS out of the box so I was pretty much stuck. My players were detected but didn't work either.

I'm also thinking about Mint, wich is essentially the same as Ubuntu right? I read on their website that in comes with loads of things that go well when you have windows too. It would cost me $8 to make it ship... I might order it tonigh

I've only heard good things about Mint...it's basically a spruced up Ubuntu from what I've heard. I haven't used it though...I did have a hang on the live CD for some reason....but Ubuntu went perfect. Maybe I had a bad download, don't know though for Mint.

I'm downloading it right now. I have 2GB left for this month and I'm not gonna be there on the 31st, it should be enough (lol). Anyway, the penalty is $7.95GB and ordering the CD is $8.72.

I'll probably be able to install tonight

Hey, keep us posted! Ubuntu? or Mint? I can vouch for Ubuntu on the C90s.

Mint 4.0 Full. I read it has native NTFS suppport, that only is enough to sold me

I just hope I can find a CD-R at home tonight lol. I got like 100 Taiyo Yuden DVDs but no CD. I think I have a RW somewhere

EDIT: I got one, I also freed 40GB of space on my 2nd partition to make a 3rd one (transfered files into my desktop)

Several experienced folks on the Ubuntu Forums have said, "Don't use RW's!" They're not reflective enuf or something, but tend to cause more trouble than they're worth.
