All right, then, I'm dropping Imgburn from my Bookmarks and adding BurnCDCC.
Sorry, Calvin, if I'm wandering afield of your original subject![]()
The BurnCDCC website says it'll work up to/including xp. It doesn't work in vista?
-
Calvin, did you ever install Linux?
-
-
Yeah it works in vista and i didn't have any problems. I run admin with UAC off.
-
Have you installed yet?

How were thedrivers research on the c90s dude? I just ordered both 32 and 64bits CD for ubuntu (too lazy to loose 700mb on bandwith hehe). Should get it before spring break.

JCMS....Ubuntu works great on our computer....great distro to boot! It will load up the Nvidia driver.
-
OKay nice, can't wait to try it.
In last 4 years, I've tried RedHat, FC6, Suse.... none of them worked on my 2 desktops. Well, the network card's drivers didn't and those 3 didn't support NTFS out of the box so I was pretty much stuck. My players were detected but didn't work either. -
I stopped using linux in 02, using Libranet and Red Hat then. It's come a long way, you'll like it...esp Ubuntu. btw, I'm using the 32 bit version of Ubuntu.
-
I'm also thinking about Mint, wich is essentially the same as Ubuntu right? I read on their website that in comes with loads of things that go well when you have windows too. It would cost me $8 to make it ship... I might order it tonigh
-
I've only heard good things about Mint...it's basically a spruced up Ubuntu from what I've heard. I haven't used it though...I did have a hang on the live CD for some reason....but Ubuntu went perfect. Maybe I had a bad download, don't know though for Mint.
-
I'm downloading it right now. I have 2GB left for this month and I'm not gonna be there on the 31st, it should be enough (lol). Anyway, the penalty is $7.95GB and ordering the CD is $8.72.
I'll probably be able to install tonight -
Hey, keep us posted! Ubuntu? or Mint? I can vouch for Ubuntu on the C90s.
-
Mint 4.0 Full. I read it has native NTFS suppport, that only is enough to sold me
I just hope I can find a CD-R at home tonight lol. I got like 100 Taiyo Yuden DVDs but no CD. I think I have a RW somewhere
EDIT: I got one, I also freed 40GB of space on my 2nd partition to make a 3rd one (transfered files into my desktop) -
