I'm running Arch on a VM for the time being, while I wait to be bothered to install some Linux distro dual-boot.

Been using Ubuntu the past 2 Years and its been beautiful. I reinstalled it properly a few times after messing things up here and there on my old Dell M1210. Bought the new Asus EEE PC 1201N changed the wireless and tried Ubuntu 10.4 but its been more a pain then anything else. So i decided to try a few different GUI`s and ended up with MINT.
I got my Pogoplug running just fine another funny experiance....lol

Just added Ubuntu 10.10 to my XPS m1530. Runs good except I can't get the webcam to do anything. Anyone have any ideas?

    First try reloading uvcvideo
    Code:
sudo modprobe -r uvcvideo; sudo modprobe uvcvideo
If that doesn't do it, I found this:
[ubuntu] Webcam no longer working - Ubuntu Forums

I have to admit I'm not 100% sure what forum groups are really for, but maybe we'll have a virtual bbq or something. :D

Gonna have to dig around a bit and see what we can come up with. For now it's just a fun new thing.
