What theme do you use? I would like to download it :p
btw, this is a bit off-topic. Do you find eye strain of using such a small screen as a netbook?
    Thanks

    - Link to theme: Hope GTK theme gives your desktop a wintery chill

    - I haven't had any problems using this netbook, mainly as a secondary PC. Of course now that I have been using Linux, back to it after many years, I have found myself using it more and more.

I like the dock, but at the same time it's too reminiscent of OS X.

Yeah, very true. I'm not a huge fan of the menu's in Ubuntu though, just seems to be difficult to find the applications that you use often, and putting them on the desktop wouldn't be an option as it gets too messy and cluttered!

Do a right click on the Gnome menu. Then you'll see a menu with an item called "edit menu" or similar.
Or just run "alacarte" from a terminal.

np. If you haven't, yet, check out the GTk+ hope theme to match the Icon set. It really is quite a good pairing.

I'm using a customized Clearlooks theme, with Industrial controls and the awoken icon theme. It gives it a blu-ish grey chill theme already. :D But I'll look at the link you gave. :)
