Hey everyone. I have searched through the posts but haven't seen anything that helped.

My stock battery swelled and I replaced it yesterday. Something I've done on my other GS63VR before, and not the first time I've cracked open the 65 to upgrade SSD. I am familiar and experienced in tearing these down.

After swapping the battery, it wouldn't turn on. Front battery light was solid white, and a white led flicker when pressing lower button.

Plugged in AC, still no power. Held the battery reset button and the white led for battery turned off, and never game back on. I had a backup power cord that gives me the same results.

Tried the various suggestions of holding power button down, removing battery, clearing CMOS etc, it will not turn on with or without battery. Almost like it has no power. If I hold down the power button, without battery installed, and plug it in, the fans soon for a couple seconds and nothing else.

Left the CMOS battery unplugged overnight and tried to power on without battery again, still nothing.

Any tips? Was a great machine and I'd like to bring it back to life.... Although an excuse to upgrade is tempting to.... Lol
