Good choice. Just a little bit slower than the Samsungs, BUT runs MUCH cooler.Have 5 in 3 MSI GTs 72-73 and 75.
Performance and the price is right!

You would never notice a small difference in speed.
You will notice the difference in HEAT!
Oh yeah! Price goes without saying.

Cant remember the exact figures from the testing I was reading but i think around 17c working maxed Stress Testing.Enough that it swayed my choice anyway. I just work on a principle that anytime I add 1 degree Im hurting performance. One might not make that much difference but when you start using 3 under that heatsink, things will get toasty especially if a person is silly and runs stress tests back to back Heatsink absorbs heat to a speced level but also has to dissapate that heat at a specd rate (air circulation) or other!
Thought I would post this link to a DIFFERENT GTX 1080 option.

The MSI 1080 has a 6 pin supplementary power link! This one is 4 pin but the ad says it will draw full 150 watt power rating from MXM slot. So basically like the MSI GTX 1080 150 watt GT83 card Eurocomm sells for $1300.Shouldnt be hard to find the required 3.3 and 5 volt sources for that plug.GT73 and 75 both have the board plug so probably your source.
I know my MSI 200 watt GTX 1080 runs fine witout the six pin hooked up. Got so excited forgot to plug it in.Down about 15% FPS
