I too got the same "issue" with my gt78odx. So still no fix..
@Pherein do you have any idea?
I use turbofan but it would be handy to have that integrated ;)

Man this is awesome ! Got a GT60-75X48FD and that thing was loud in idle and pushed higher rates on the fans too late ... just used the default preset and voila, super quiet in idle and temps not hitting 90° anymore ... i think the EC is screwed on my one, but im not shure if i can update it to 16F3EMS1.414 ..
    ----------------------
    Edit

its newest .. rw-everything shows it, but after a while using the default profile from 16F2-12 the gpu doesnt clocks up and my touch buttons turn themself off ... i attached the Ec bin from my GT60 .. Mainboard is MS-16F3 .. i hope you can help me out ..

yeah ... the button to disable all radios is broken and my 675mx doesnt clock up ... on all profiles .. any fix in sight ? .. would love to use it much quieter !

    --------------

something broke on me .. why the hell would my gpu not clock high ?!?

    -----------------------------

so i forced p state and rebooted .. back to normal ... radio button still broken .. and it would be nice to know the defaults of the MS-16F3 ..

    ------------------------

radio button broken while SCM is running .. this is so weird everything

Hello pherein. I see that last time you were here is 31-st August but just in case you visit it again please contribute to MSI notebook owners again :)

I personally have MSI GE70 and would like to see your wonderful program to support it.
    Have a nice day!

I know it is not relevant to ask a question about a different brand PC but I could get no answers in the Toshiba forums until now about editing the fans of Qosmio x775. If anything you know that may help me , please. Thx.

Check with Svet in MSI EN Forum and he may be able to assist you with modifying the firmware of your system's BIOS/EC.

It's all about feel. After using your laptop you can get a feel about how fast and silent you want your fan when browsing/working, or when playing games. Personally I use moderate and low fan speeds when temps around 70 and lower, to keep a consistent sound experience, but higher than this and I start rising fan speed (since high than 70 temps are usually gaming) and thus I keep a consistent high fan speed with lowish temps when gaming, and low fan speed when browsing.

    Hallo,

I want to buy a new MSI GT60 2PE Dominator 3K Edition. Is the fan control working with this notebook?

Svet's tool can set the fan levels for you at the very least.
