Please use the Driver from GT75VR 8RG plus this one https://nahimic.helprace.com/i734-new-nahimic-3-audio-driver-update. All other Drivers above that come with GT75VR 9th and beyond don't work with my GT73VR. I can install the Driver but i have no Sound.
The combination that i use works well.

I no longer use Nahimic for several months now since I already got a great pair of headphones paired with a DAC+AMP. Right now I'm just looking for the lastest unmodded Realtek drivers without the Nahimic and I couldn't find an official source except from my laptop manufacturer's page which are now outdated since 2017. I thought I'd ask the modders as to where they get their latest drivers from.

I have a GT73VR 7RE. For some reason I can't open the Realtek HD Audio Manager.
I've tried to fix this issue for hours but I can't figure out what's wrong. My Task Manager shows that Realtek HD Audio Manager is running but I don't have the icon for it in my taskbar. When I try to open it from Program Files>Realtek>Audio>HDA>RtkNGUI64.exe, I get the window down in my taskbar but it's like broken and won't maximize. The pic below shows how this little piece of the window is the only thing that pops up, clicking anywhere on it just minimizes it back down.
I've tried uninstalling the Realtek driver and installing other ones. Even tried the ones off of the GT73VR 7RE support page. Still isn't working. I think I read that new drivers that came with Windows updates don't work with the Audio Manager but I can't even get the window to open with older drivers.
Any help would be appreciated. -
So I tried the "Repair Install" option, now I've got only Realtek without any Nahimic.
-
hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
@Danny_L If that driver was direct from microsoft then the control panel for Realtek Audio is the Realtek Audio Console UWP : https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/p/realtek-audio-control/9p2b8mcsvpln
@Shadowex3 which repair did you use there is two of them
Repair/Upgrade Driver <Just does the Driver>
Repair Nahimic <Just sorts Nahimic issues>
If you used Nahimic one, go to c:\Audio\8765.1 and remove the following file RTKAIO.ahk i noticed there is a mistake in there, download the attached one and then extract it to c:\Audio\8765.1 folder then run the Launch.exe file and try again.Attached Files:

Got rid of everything related to Realtek, Nahimic, and A-Volute through uninstalling, deleting everything with a MFT search, and clearing out my registry except for systemroot stuff.
Thought that would be a clean install for the Realtek driver. I guess not.
I'm not really sure what else I can do besides a clean windows reinstall and hope that cleans up this mess caused by windows, realtek, and nahimic.
I use an Astro A40 TR-X headset with an Astro TR Mixamp Pro. I don't even use the Realtek inputs/outputs. I leave them disabled and only have my headset enabled as my Default playback device and my headset microphone enabled as my default recording device. Everything else is disabled. My problem is in discord I don't use push-to-talk. I just use voice activity, but if I have my headset volume loud enough (or the sounds are loud enough), they get picked up by my mic input pretty clearly and it causes my mic to activate even though I'm not talking.
All I wanted to do was get into the Realtek HD Audio Manager or the Realtek Audio Control app (if it actually has that option in the Advanced Device Settings, not sure) and enable the setting to "separate all input jacks as independent devices" as I've heard that can fix the issue of output being picked up by the mic input.
For now I've just resorted to still using voice activity but instead of automatically determining input sensitivity, I manually set the input sensitivity to just above the peak dB input that my output is giving off at max volume.
That is a compromising fix in my opinion. Ideally there should be absolutely no mic input showing in discord if I'm not making noise into the mic. But for some reason high volume output is bleeding into mic input and it's driving me crazy.
I know for sure it's not physical bleed from the actual headset speakers to the mic because I have the A40 mod kit which makes the headset a closedback, noise cancelling headset. When my volume is going full blast, the headset microphone level in the OS Sounds window isn't showing any input in the green bar. But in discord it's showing input going off. When I use the windows voice recorder and record without talking but say a youtube music video full blast, it picks it up.Last edited: Aug 10, 2019 -

@Danny_L that means then you don't have a UAD driver installed but a HDA driver installed. What system do you have aka what model number? Is it a 4th 5th 6th 7th gen system because if it was an 8th gen or 9th gen the driver would be installed directly from microsoft as a UAD driver.
If you have either a 4th 5th 6th 7th gen system the only way for you to be able to use Nahimic 3 is though the modded driver i supply as the modded driver is also UAD, this means things like Realtek Audio Console and Nahimic 3 will work without issues. If your only after Realtek Audio Console and Realtek Drivers the modded installer has an option for that called Install without nahimic, else you can use the Full install button to install everything including Nahimic 3.
Otherwise the only non modded way is to continue using HDA drivers which are not always upto date, If your worried about anything simple extract the executeable and read though the .PS1 and .AHK files as well as check the VirusTotal score which has a 0 score marking.
There is no need for a clean install If you have Windows 1809/1903 (only ones i will support as i am on the latter and the others are EOL) then follow the instructions and enjoy. -

As i said try my driver out.
-
I'm really not even sure that will fix my issue of loud output getting into mic input as I'm not even using the jacks, it's a headset through USB mixamp setup. -
hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
Ok clicking gear icon in Realtek Audio Console will show
Everything else underneath that is click able
That should help you sort the outputs.
Now as for output getting into input try sorting the mic's optional extra's there are more in Nahimic 3 as well.
Also your system has the following
1x Mic-in
1x Headphone-out (HiFi / SPDIF)
1x Line-in
1x Line-out
So that is 2 outputs and 2 inputs, which is the same as my system and most GT7x systems.
First socket is Headphone SPDIF/HiFi, second is microphone third is line in and forth is line out. The forth one will work when in Quad or 5.1 mode.Attached Files:

@Shadowex3 head into the UWP folder the Nahimic 3 UWP is in there simply double click it, if it errors out give me the error code resulting from it.
If your still having issues DM me on here and i will setup a date and time with you to Teamviewer in to see if i can solve the issue for you.

I searched the entire system drive, I don't seem to have a Nahimic 3 executable after running "repair nahimic" with your installer. I do have a lot of cruft leftover from Nahimic 2 in various system folders.
-
hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
Right uninstall all Nahimic 2 stuff if you can, uninstall the driver(s) for Realtek sound. Then run a DDU cleaner run in safe mode there is an open for Sound select Realtek and clean restart. Then follow the instructions and do a Full install. See if that works if it doesn't then DM me and we'll sort a day and time to fix the issue.

Right Driver 6.0.1.8773.1 is testing and the Installer is now in Release Candidate which means another step has been removed and its a true Installer as it will now uninstall the Drivers before going into test signing mode to install them again.
So apart from disabling SecureBoot now its a click, click and forget (Apart from logging into windows after reboots). Once testing phase has been completed and is passed it will be uploaded here.
So with the new installer i have completed all my goals which includes Zero hits on VirusTotal, Driver uninstaller and Driver + UWP's installer and repair in one package whilst maintaining 1 script to edit and 3 .inf files to edit. Not bad for a beginner. -
it appears MSI has released this 8765 Realtek UAD driver with updated NH3ProductSettings.cab file that has newer product setting files (inspect the Thirdparty folder of this new driver from MSI)
note: 8773 WHQL UAD Nahimic and greater no longer include the Thirdparty Nahimic UWP component files - Realtek removed them in newer UAD Nahimic drivers -
hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
Just checked the new drivers 8777.1 and your right no more third-party folder I have to add this in.
I have also checked the .cab file and it's increased in size as it has new profiles for the newer systems.
I can only think they have removed them for a reason, which could even be to stop the driver modding as with them files in it was easier to download however for each challenge they make I will rise to it and succeeded, at least till I can't then we are just stuck on whatever the last modded driver was which looks to be 8777.1.
Driver 8777.1 has been done and will be passed in to the testers.

Install instructions:
- Disconnect from the internet (Blame Microsoft as they are still able to install drivers from Windows Update even when blocked with .reg file).
- Reboot System and Enter BIOS/UEFI.
- Please DISABLE SECUREBOOT in your BIOS this is now important for this new installer!
- Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software.
- Now run the Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.8773.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe Installer
- Select Full Install, Install Without Nahimic, Repair/Driver Update or Fix Nahimic 3. However mostly Full install button should be used.
- Sit back and relax as the UWP's get uninstalled, the driver gets uninstalled and then your system is rebooted into test signing mode and everything is installed and your system is rebooted again!
- Now head back into your BIOS/UEFI and Re-enable SecureBoot!!
- Now let the system boot up fully and re-enable the internet connection.

Known possible bugs and fixes:
Issue: Jack Detection not working.
Solution: Simply go to Realtek Audio Console Disable and Re-enable it.
Issue: Microphone not working after using Nahimic Optimizer.
Solution: Click Reset inside Nahimic Settings section will fix this.
Issue: Microsoft Overwritten the installed modded driver.
Solution: Head to Settings → System → About, Now click System info then Select Advance System Settings → Hardware Tab → Driver Installation Settings, now select NO! save and reboot
the system. Then head to c:\Audio\8777.1\ and run the launch.exe file to start the reinstall.
Issue: Nahimic 3 reports its device is not compatible basically not working.
Solution: Head to c:\Audio\8777.1\ folder and launch the launch.exe file. When the installer has loaded select Repair Nahimic, this will then uninstall the Nahimic 3 APO drivers and UWP then reinstall them after a reboot,
this should fix the issue.

There's a load.of issues with chrome at the moment so I would be surprised there is an issue with Nahimic equaliser not working on chrome audio.
Sent from my SNE-LX1 using Tapatalk -
Hello! I can't get Nahimic to work. I turn on the effects but nothing happens, I hear a normal sound. Drivers are installed (i tried both, the latest 8777.1 and 8765.1). A month ago, everything worked for me with your build, but I had to reinstall Windows last week. Previously, the sound device was called Nahimic, and everything worked. But now it's called Realtek (R) Audio. I reinstalled Windows twice, to the most recent build. I'm sure I tried everything. What should I do?
Also on a clean system, I could not install everything for the first time. I had to go into the uwp folder and install Net Native Runtime. It does not come with Windows and is not installed by your program.
I have installed Dolby Atmos, and it works fine. Its presence in the system did not interfere with Nahimic's work, and I could switch between them.
I can’t enable SecureBoot, but I don’t think that it somehow interferes with Nahimic. I have not turned it on for a long time, when I just tried Nahimic, and everything worked. In the BIOS, I see that the system is in Setup mode, and to enable SecureBoot it must be in User mode or something like that.Last edited: Aug 21, 2019 -
hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
@OneOnline Just a few questions.
Right main question your defo installinig this on an MSI Branded Laptop? Never heard Audio showing up as Nahimic in Device Manager. Secondly SecureBoot was Disabled before running my driver mod installer? Its need to be disabled so it can reboot the system into test signing mode to install the Modified drivers. Thirdly Net Native Runtime should be installed during Nahimic's UWP install.
So if you can please screen shot me your dxdiag Sound tab please so i can see what Audio Chipset you have i can then check the files as 8777.1 and 8765.1 has had a file change forcing me to mod one extra file.
If your system is MSI also which model so i can check that too, as this driver mod is for Intel 4th 5th 6th and 7th gen systems if you have an 8th or 9th gen system you should really be using Nahimics own drivers. -
1) I have a motherboard MSI Z270 SLI PRO. Perhaps the name of the audio was "Nahimic" after installation according to this instruction: https://dldolby.blogspot.com/2018/06/nahimic-3-for-windows-10-64bit.html
But I do not remember exactly, maybe after your installer. The main thing is that it was there.
2) Yes, SecureBoot is disabled.
3) Net Native Runtime was not installed and an error occurred during the installation through PowerShell, so Nahimic was not installed. However, I fixed this by manually installing Net Native Runtime, and the full installation through your program was successful.
I don’t know what the problem is, but your previous version worked on my old Windows. Now none of them work now. Everything is installed, but Nahimic does not change the sound. -
hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
Ok check Windows Sound properties and see if Enhancements is enabled, does Nahimic APO showing in software components section of device manager?

hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
Will have a look on my system.
Ediit: Just checked the images and all seems to be set correctly.
So i take it no Audio equaliser works for you at all? If this is the case you could try something.
Download this: LINK
It will download a file called A-Volute.zip, in that zip is a file called NH3ProductSettings.cab extract that file and replace that within the c:\Audio\8777.1\Win64\ThirdParty\A-Volute\OEM INF Extension - MSI folder then re-install the full version mode again to see if it works.
Then let me know the outcome, as my NH3ProductSettings.cab is modded and the one i linked you is not.
If it works i guess then i will be adding a checkbox in for the Patched version.Last edited: Aug 22, 2019OneOnline likes this. -
Yeah it works, thank you!
Last time, I probably did not remove the driver, but simply updated Nahimic through your program. Therefore, everything worked for me according to the old guide on that site.
And don't forget to add a Net Native Runtime installation before installing Nahimic. Without a manual installation, I would never be able to complete the installation process, and it happened 2 times, on different iso images of Windows 10. Perhaps it will be installed sometime later if I install any applications from the Windows Store, but I decided to install Nahimic first. -
hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
Glad to hear it, as for the Net runtime here is the command run for installing Nahimic
Code:Add-appxPackage -Path "uwp\A-Volute.Nahimic_1.3.2.0_neutral___w2gh52qy24etm.AppxBundle" -DependencyPath "uwp\Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.1.3_1.3.24211.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe.appx, uwp\Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.4_1.4.24201.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe.appx"
the RTKAIO.ahk fiile can be opened to check this.
So next driver i will not mod the .cab file and see how that goes for people that had the issue with noth Equaliser showing as it might be fixed in later builds. -
You can install "Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.4_1.4.24201.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe.Appx" before rebooting into safe mode (after clicking the Full Install button) and everything will work.
Here is my error:
AppX Deployment operation failed for package A-Volute.Nahimic_1.3.2.0_neutral___w2gh52qy24etm with error 0x80073CF3. The specific error text for this failure is: Windows cannot install package A-Volute.Nahimic_1.3.2.0_neutral___w2gh52qy24etm because this package depends on a framework that could not be found. Provide the framework " Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.4" published by "CN=Microsoft Corporation, O=Microsoft Corporation, L=Redmond, S=Washington, C=US", with neutral or x64 processor architecture and minimum version 1.4.24201.0, along with this package to install. The frameworks with name " Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.4" currently installed are: {}
By the way, it looks like the Windows Store is removing these packages. Now I started it, and instead of saying that it was already installed, I was asked to install it (Nahimic and Realtek Audio Console are installed). -
hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
Seams strange that its removing the UWP's which build of Windows are you running? i.e 1803/1809/1903? See neither of these issues i have seen on my installs and i clean install Windows 10 often without issues. Now i could be my coding in AHK (Which i am new to) means that the second uwp to be called via the dependency switch is being ignored which means i simply add that as its own install during the UWP install, I can add it to the begining because UWP's get removed so will have a look in to changing the installer on next build to install Native Runtime before Nahimic's own UWP.
-
The very last 1903, Pro.
I think both ways have a place to be. I don’t know if there is something like Try{}Catch{} in PowerShell where you could install Runtime in case of an error and try again.
I will wait for your next build -
hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
No there isn't in powershell, i use powershell quite often however a call to install the native before it does Nahimic should work its magic.

It worked, my Realtek Audio Console now shows as MSI, and I have audio working, sadly the Nahimic 3 app is nowhere to be found, and I'm a bit afraid of trying your fix, given that I'm for sure running the oldest system of all your mod users, its an old GT72 2QE with a 4th gen i7-4720HQ.
I also attached a screen shot of the Realtek Console so you can see the versions of the drivers that where installed.
I'm running Win 10 1903 - 18362.295
I also spent a couple days fighting with Nvidia drivers, for some reason my GPU stopped boosting above 1040Mhz, and wouldn't budge the core clock even with OC, and I'm running a modded VBIOS, uninstalled and went with latest 431, still no boost, 417 to 419 gave me boost but also gave me the Nvidia Control panel process always using 20% CPU, remove again, now its working with the 425.31 and I'm afraid about how long it will work..
All the corporations just want to ditch old hardware, not being supported, I don't care, but removing performance is beyond stupid.
EDIT:
So, I read a bit of the last page, and I decided to unzip and install the Nahimic UWP, and it installed, and it launchs, its version 1.3.2, but none of the effects work, tried disabling and enabling the Audio enhancements in the Speakers proprieties, I only wanted a bit more bass in my headphones
This is my hardware ID:
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_14621118&REV_1003
Jack detection works, I can set the volume and mute the audio in the Nahimic app, but thats all, oh well, can't have it all it seems.
Thanks for all your work in this mod!Attached Files:

hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
@senso, run the Nahimic Repair option bud that should fix most issues with Nahimic hence why its there. Also check the Sound Properties in Windows to make sure Enhancements are turned on. Else use the link i gave to a user on post
http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...upported-systems.822763/page-54#post-10944129
then follow instructions. Its why the installer is made this way so its easier to sort things out when it goes wrong.senso likes this. -

- Now run the Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.8781.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe Installer

Solution: Head to Settings → System → About, Now click System info then Select Advance System Settings → Hardware Tab → Driver Installation Settings, now select NO! save and reboot
the system. Then head to c:\Audio\8781.1\ and run the launch.exe file to start the reinstall.
Issue: Nahimic 3 reports its device is not compatible basically not working.
Solution: Head to c:\Audio\8781.1\ folder and launch the launch.exe file. When the installer has loaded select Repair Nahimic, this will then uninstall the Nahimic 3 APO drivers and UWP then reinstall them after a reboot,
this should fix the issue.
