Finally have internet again after moving apartments. So this one's closer. After a Full Install I can open up Nahimic 3 and even turn effects on or off, but that's it. If I ever try to click on any of the other tabs to go anywhere else in the app instantly closes and also permanently breaks the app. Anytime I open it from then on it'll just immediately close as soon as it loads.
After this "Repair Nahimic" goes through the reboots but leaves me without a nahimic app, the only way to get everything working again is another Full Install.

What laptop you running on? What's OS build you running on?, It's great you have stated the issues however without basic system model, soundcard codec ID it even Windows Build numbers I can't tell what the issue might be.

Sorry guess it has been a while. Same guy from page 41. MSI GT72VR 6RE that inexplicably didn't work at all before. Given how much of a defective lemon this laptop's turned out to be I'm not surprised even this doesn't work right.

Right oh, so it's still breathing. Well one tester tested this build and didn't have issues neither did I. However your laptop has to be special doesn't it. I could organise a TeamViewer session after my fibre goes live sometime today if you wish.

Hi @hacktrix2006. I noticed today that there is a newer driver, version 6.0.8825.1, available. I assume you base yours on the MSI Nahimic build of the drivers and the latest driver, 6.0.8828.1 Microsoft driver would not apply?
There is also a newer Realtek Audio Console, version 1.8.200.0, available.
If you get the time to update your installer, I will test it.
On a side note, have you (or do you) use alanfox2000's NVIDIA Geforce Graphics Driver Repack?

@djlenoir I have already downloaded the files for my plan was to get it done after i woke up. No Microsoft's Driver to get the hell out of the way. Also the other thing is the realtek audio console 1.8.200 is for HP systems, we shell be using 1.8.199.
As for the geforce repack, i don't use it persay, I only use his script's and i use Nvidia full drivers from nvidia.com.djlenoir likes this. -

Install instructions:
- Disconnect from the internet (Blame Microsoft as they are still able to install drivers from Windows Update even when blocked with .reg file).
- Reboot System and Enter BIOS/UEFI.
- Please DISABLE SECUREBOOT in your BIOS this is now important for this new installer!
- Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software.
- Now run the Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.8825.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe Installer
- Select Full Install, Install Without Nahimic, Repair/Driver Update or Fix Nahimic 3. However mostly Full install button should be used.
- Sit back and relax as the UWP's get uninstalled, the driver gets uninstalled and then your system is rebooted into test signing mode and everything is installed and your system is rebooted again!
- Now head back into your BIOS/UEFI and Re-enable SecureBoot!!
- Now let the system boot up fully and re-enable the internet connection.

Known possible bugs and fixes:
Issue: Jack Detection not working.
Solution: Simply go to Realtek Audio Console Disable and Re-enable it.
Issue: Microphone not working after using Nahimic Optimizer.
Solution: Click Reset inside Nahimic Settings section will fix this.
Issue: Microsoft Overwritten the installed modded driver.
Solution: Head to Settings → System → About, Now click System info then Select Advance System Settings → Hardware Tab → Driver Installation Settings, now select NO! save and reboot
the system. Then head to c:\Audio\8825.1\ and run the launch.exe file to start the reinstall.
Issue: Nahimic 3 reports its device is not compatible basically not working.
Solution: Head to c:\Audio\8825.1\ folder and launch the launch.exe file. When the installer has loaded select Repair Nahimic, this will then uninstall the Nahimic 3 APO drivers and UWP then reinstall them after a reboot,
this should fix the issue.

New drivers and apps are working just fine. I did have one anomaly with this install to share for the benefit of others in case they experience it as well. After the system came back up, I had no audio at all even though all drivers looked to be working fine. I rebooted the laptop again and audio worked fine. Other than that, tested all Nahimic audio profiles and options, and also tested mic functionality and options. All working great.

New drivers installed just fine. I have noticed something recently that I have not quite been able to figure out. I have tried with like the last few driver packages, but what I am noticing is audio anomalies. It is really evident while watching YouTube, and the audio sounds great, but it sounds like the audio enhancements just stop working and then start working again. The audio sounds great, then sounds muffled (or plain). I have tried quite a few things to see if I isolate the issue, but nothing has worked so far. It still happens even when I turn off everything in Nahimic. Anyone else experiencing this? If so, any suggestions on what I might try next?

@djlenoir the chrome issue has been around for a while, i have tried everything to get it work on both chrome and firefox but the equaliser doesn't seem to work on either. Its not just the modded drives most people with the stock drivers have this issue to, so to me personally i would assume its a change in whatever chrome and firefox has done that causes this. @hacktrix2006 you were spot on there my friend! It also affects the new Edge (Chromium based) browser. I never tried the original Edge until now. Works perfectly. Hopefully the other browsers will figure out what is going on and get an update out.
No mute mic issues or any other issues for that matter. I only tested full install, but I did run through the normal validation of features. All features working perfectly. Thank you. -
Glad to hear all is working as it should, There is a few things that has broken in chromium based browsers not just sound. Its started ever since you could get equaliser plugins on chrome.Kevin@GenTechPC likes this.

slowly realizing this hacktrix2006, but Nahimic3 APO SWC component recently updated to v1.6.1.0 (driver date 10/9/2019) from this download on the Nahimic 3 audio driver update page in their support forum.

Thanks for pointing this out however me and @djlenoir have already been testing it as djlenoir already notified me of this new SWC, when I tested it the DPC latency issue returned and the sound was very very very choppy. Will test it again later if it's been updated since the version me and djlenoir tested and it works it will be integrated.

I'm not having the youtube firefox & google chrome problems anymore with Nahimic3 UWP app v1.3.6 and Nahimic SWC component v1.6.1.0 driver on my gigabyte board w/ Realtek UAD 8838 driver. Nahimic3 now affects and made audio changes to the sound when playing youtube videos in Firefox and Google Chrome as I've just tested this myself. so it should also be working on MSI systems beside Gigabyte systems.

If you look in PM's you'll notice you've been invited to test the beta which has SWC 1.6.1 in it and also in there is a video of an issue that I have experienced again like I did with 1.5.1 before a new version of 1.5.1 was released and fixed the issue. Bit thanks for heads up.

Install instructions:
- Disconnect from the internet (Blame Microsoft as they are still able to install drivers from Windows Update even when blocked with .reg file).
- Reboot System and Enter BIOS/UEFI.
- Please DISABLE SECUREBOOT in your BIOS this is now important for this new installer!
- Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software.
- Now run the Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.8838.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe Installer
- Select Full Install, Install Without Nahimic, Repair/Driver Update or Fix Nahimic 3. However mostly Full install button should be used.
- Sit back and relax as the UWP's get uninstalled, the driver gets uninstalled and then your system is rebooted into test signing mode and everything is installed and your system is rebooted again!
- Now head back into your BIOS/UEFI and Re-enable SecureBoot!!
- Now let the system boot up fully and re-enable the internet connection.

Known possible bugs and fixes:
Issue: Jack Detection not working.
Solution: Simply go to Realtek Audio Console Disable and Re-enable it.
Issue: Microphone not working after using Nahimic Optimizer.
Solution: Click Reset inside Nahimic Settings section will fix this.
Issue: Microsoft Overwritten the installed modded driver.
Solution: Head to Settings → System → About, Now click System info then Select Advance System Settings → Hardware Tab → Driver Installation Settings, now select NO! save and reboot
the system. Then head to c:\Audio\8838.1\ and run the launch.exe file to start the reinstall.
Issue: Nahimic 3 reports its device is not compatible basically not working.
Solution: Head to c:\Audio\8838.1\ folder and launch the launch.exe file. When the installer has loaded select Repair Nahimic, this will then uninstall the Nahimic 3 APO drivers and UWP then reinstall them after a reboot,
this should fix the issue.
Issue: Sound has become muffled/suppressed/distorted.
Solution: Please run DDU, select the Audio and Realtek WIP. Use Clean and Restart then reinstall.

Hi to everyone.
After installing this driver, updating my drivers from Nahimic 2+, I’ve lost the ability to talk with the integrated microphone.
The windows detects that sound is reaching the microphone (normal, since it was working before the update), but is not outputting the sound, meaning that nobody can listen to me during calls.
I’ve already done the recommended actions from the “non working microphone” section.
What can I do, without uninstalling the drivers and reverting to a previous version of Nahimic? -

I have on my pc the windows 10, version 1903.
When installing the new drivers and Nahimic 3, I did not uninstall the old drivers and software.

@mapm1998 if you didn't uninstall the original Driver and Nahimic app first it becomes a mess.
So what i suggest you do is to run a DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller): https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html and go into safe mode.
Once you have DDU running select Audio and then Realtek [WIP]. With these options selected press clean and restart.
Once its restarted make sure that Nahimic 2+ is removed, the inbuilt uninstaller in the AIO is for Nahimic 3 modded drivers, give this a try and let me know how it goes. -
So, I’ve done that you mentioned and still the problem persists... The Nahimic 2+ is not installed, and I’ve made the clean install as suggested.

In the mean time you could open Realtek Audio console, click on the microphone take then adjust the microphone level down then up.
Also try clicking Default format and changing the bit rate to DVD format and see if that helps.
Else go Settings -> System -> Sound and make sure you Input is set to Microphone (Realtek(R)Audio), if it is click Device Properties and check the disable box and then uncheck it.

Should I try to uninstall everything and install the old drivers that I had on my pc, and then update to the newest drivers, or what should I do? -
@mapm1998 for now if you really need that microphone i would uninstall the Drivers and the UWP apps and reinstall Nahimic 2+ and its drivers, till i can remote into your system to see whats going on.
Also there is a new driver set on its way as well. -

Install instructions:
- Disconnect from the internet (Blame Microsoft as they are still able to install drivers from Windows Update even when blocked with .reg file).
- Reboot System and Enter BIOS/UEFI.
- Please DISABLE SECUREBOOT in your BIOS this is now important for this new installer!
- Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software.
- Now run the Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.8849.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe Installer
- Select Full Install, Install Without Nahimic, Repair/Driver Update or Fix Nahimic 3. However mostly Full install button should be used.
- Sit back and relax as the UWP's get uninstalled, the driver gets uninstalled and then your system is rebooted into test signing mode and everything is installed and your system is rebooted again!

- Now let the system boot up fully and re-enable the internet connection.

Solution: Simply go to Realtek Audio Console Disable and Re-enable it.
Issue: Microphone not working after using Nahimic Optimizer.

Issue: Microsoft Overwritten the installed modded driver.
Solution: Head to Settings → System → About, Now click System info then Select Advance System Settings → Hardware Tab → Driver Installation Settings, now select NO! save and reboot
the system. Then head to c:\Audio\8849.1\ and run the launch.exe file to start the reinstall.
Issue: Nahimic 3 reports its device is not compatible basically not working.
Solution: Head to c:\Audio\8849.1\ folder and launch the launch.exe file. When the installer has loaded select Repair Nahimic, this will then uninstall the Nahimic 3 APO drivers and UWP then reinstall them after a reboot,
this should fix the issue.
Issue: Sound has become muffled/suppressed/distorted.
Solution: Please run DDU, select the Audio and Realtek WIP. Use Clean and Restart then reinstall.

@nk950357 Hi sorry your system is having issues. I have a few questions.
1) What is your Audio Codec ID (Can be found in dxdiag in the sound tab as a Device ID)
2) Did any other version work before that?
If question number 2 is yes, try rolling back the NH3 Audio effect componet to version 1.5.1 and reboot. If it works after that then run the repair Nahimic option on the new installer and see if it works after.

I reinstall my computer's OS(because of upgrading SSD)
I've tried my old OS's version( 8765.1)But Also faces same problem.

Ok this is strange, so the only thing I can think of is windows is updating drivers.
So if you go to settings, system, about, click system info then advance system settings.
Select Hardware tab, then click the Device Installation Settings. If it has YES checked marked check mark NO. Then reboot into safe mode and run DDU's Realtek WIP cleaning option then clean and restart. Then try the installer again. I have updated the driver so please try that one out.
Else if this fails i am free tomorrow if you are happy to do a teamviewer session, to have a look and hopefully resolve the issue.

unfortunately, Still got same error, then after installing 8854, my device cannot output any sound,microphone doesnt work too

I've successful install nahimic now.
1.Boot to safe bode then uninstall all drivers in DDU.
2.install drivers but without nahimic
3.install patch from ofiical website.

4.reinstall nahimic from microsoft store, then reboot
5.when boot, windows will ask you if you want to run program, remember to uncheck"ask to run everytime"

Nice, however my Nahimic repair option is the same thing as the patch you used but automated. Oh well time to double check my scripting.

Install instructions:
- Disconnect from the internet (Blame Microsoft as they are still able to install drivers from Windows Update even when blocked with .reg file).
- Reboot System and Enter BIOS/UEFI.
- Please DISABLE SECUREBOOT in your BIOS this is now important for this new installer!
- Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software.
- Now run the Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.8858.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe Installer
- Select Full Install, Install Without Nahimic, Repair/Driver Update or Fix Nahimic 3. However mostly Full install button should be used.
- Sit back and relax as the UWP's get uninstalled, the driver gets uninstalled and then your system is rebooted into test signing mode and everything is installed and your system is rebooted again!
- Now head back into your BIOS/UEFI and Re-enable SecureBoot!!
- Now let the system boot up fully and re-enable the internet connection.

Known possible bugs and fixes:
Issue: Jack Detection not working.
Solution: Simply go to Realtek Audio Console Disable and Re-enable it.
Issue: Microphone not working after using Nahimic Optimizer.
Solution: Click Reset inside Nahimic Settings section will fix this.
Issue: Microsoft Overwritten the installed modded driver.
Solution: Head to Settings → System → About, Now click System info then Select Advance System Settings → Hardware Tab → Driver Installation Settings, now select NO! save and reboot
the system. Then head to c:\Audio\8858.1\ and run the launch.exe file to start the reinstall.
Issue: Nahimic 3 reports its device is not compatible basically not working.
Solution: Head to c:\Audio\8858.1\ folder and launch the launch.exe file. When the installer has loaded select Repair Nahimic, this will then uninstall the Nahimic 3 APO drivers and UWP then reinstall them after a reboot,
this should fix the issue.
Issue: Sound has become muffled/suppressed/distorted.
Solution: Please run DDU, select the Audio and Realtek WIP. Use Clean and Restart then reinstall.
