I bookmarked this Mega folder, I don't remember from where, but it is always updated with the latest Realtek driver, I use it to update the software component, latest driver now is 9205
@hacktrix2006 Your latest drivers with Nahimic v1.8.5 still didn't work for me. Nahimic App crashes almost immediately upon opening. I'm going to try to Full Uninstall and then Full Install and see if it magically works but i doubt it...
Full Uninstall -» Full Install didn't work, had the same result. Used your latest drivers and then downgraded nahimic with your previous one (Nahimic v1.7.2). Nahimic now works again.
My model is an MSI GS73VR-7RF, DeviceID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0899&SUBSYS_146211AC&REV_1000.
I also forgot to mention, i'm using Windows 10 Pro 21H1 v19043.1110.
I also used almost all of your previous drivers, and never had any issue (except that MSI Exclusive thing), so i guess something changed for some models...
Considering that jen2 is using new drivers, including the SWC, that would be my first guess (i tried manually updating, but windows says that i'm already using a newer version) but, unlike you, i'm no expert in this kind of things.
Well I have gt76 and after last update from ms store nahimic is not opening...
maybe its corrupted update or something dt know wtf is happening coz i tryed to renistall it with clean realtek installation and so on even tryed to go back to restore point and its wierd since the previos version is working but then aain when update is installing its the nahimic app is not starting :/. Realtek is 6.0.9147.1 and Nahimic is 3.3.3.0. Dt know whats wrong with it. Maybe here I can get some help with it?

@bbb18 your ID is infact in the driver files in both the modded inf row and stock drivers, Wonder if downloading the stock drivers and uninstalling my driver followed by install the stock ones might help.
I tried what you recommended, and Full Uninstalled your drivers, installed the stock drivers from MSI (i believe it's the one posted on previous page by epguy3, right?), installed nahimic from Microsoft Store, with the same result. A blue window opens (with the big white N in the middle), and imediately closes/crashes. It doesn't even reach the part where it's suppose to say that my model is not supported.
Ya so its to do with the Nahimic App there is nothing i will be able to do to resolve it.
Is there anything in the EventLog for Nahimic there might be an error showing that might point to a fix.
Press the Windows Key + X, select even viewer then Windows Logs and followed by Application.
It will show loads of Red circles (Critical) Yellow Triangles (Warnings) which is totally normal don't panic, then look for anything to do with Nahimic in there.

Ok, i found the error's related to the new version of Nahimic...
something about a module failure named "KERNELBASE.DLL", then it gives me the path of this .dll (which is in the windows/system32) and the aplication that had the error (which is the nahimic3.exe) and some other things that i don't really understand. Not sure if this is what you wanted, but if you're looking for something more specific that might help please let me know of course
Right click the Applications bit and select Save All events, save it as a file and then DM me that file i can have a look at it to see whats going on.
Else just select the Item in question in the logs section select the Detailed tab then System XML and copy paste it on to here using [ code ] <CONTENT>[ / code ] remove the spaces in the bracket area and before and after the slash.
yes, thats why after hours trying to find a solution i just go back to restore poin with old Nahimic 1.7.2 thats running on 3.3.3 driver. But if ill try to update nahimic to 1.8.5 from store the app just not opening, i'm clicking on app its starting but then shutting down after a sec. I'm sure the main problem is in this update coz something wrong with the main app
Version 1.8.5 has been removed from the store, version 1.7.2 is currently being installed. According to the Nahimic support service, they will soon publish a working version 1.8.6.
I had a feeling Nahimic support released the buggy v1.8.5 Nahimic3 app to the MS store and have to release a bugfix version later on (they did this a few years ago with the old 1.2.6 & 1.2.7 versions which those versions were problematic and had to downgrade to 1.2.4 which was working well until they released the 1.2.8 version which fixed the problems)
another reason to
disable MS store auto updates I prefer manually updating MS store apps myself (without the store auto-updating them when there's an active internet connection) to cut down on unnecessary bandwidth usage
so downgrade that Nahimic 3 app to either 1.6.7 or 1.7.2, which those versions seem to work okay
edit - maybe that APO3 SWC 3.3.3.0 driver is only available thru WU; that won't show up in MUC until maybe in either August or September
edit2 - and maybe hacktrix2006 should "repack" the 9186 drivers to include the older Nahimic 3 v1.7.2 uwp app since the 1.8.5 version has been causing problems to most MSI users
IF you downloaded the original one with the 1.8.5.0 Version of the UWP please delete c:\Audio\9186.1 Folder before running the installer!!

Solution: Head into Windows 10's Store and Select the 3 Dots, followed by Settings and turn of Windows Store's Auto Application Updates,
then run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9186.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod and select Downgrade Nahimic.

MSI Z490-A PRO - station driver includes nahimic afaik but the motherboard link doesn't but felt like posting it since it is 100% official.
Will check it out and see. But you guested correct i don't like using station drivers. If the drivers are from the MUC (Microsoft Update Catalog) or MSI post the links else if its from another site its wise not to post it.
Update: Checked the MSI one and that has been nodded, currently uploading to mega and virus total. The station drivers one had old swc drivers.

there's also a
9202 UAD MSI driver for MSI laptops direct from MSI's web site
-this one should be consistent for all MSI regions since the desktop motherboard version of 9202 may not be available for all regions (meaning it may download an older version for some people rather than the newest version)
Didn't really find anything else. Found the motherboard version since my desktop uses this exact board, but my laptop got pretty old and doesn't receive updated drivers anymore (gf63 8rd). Otherwise everything is working fine for it either using this repack or drivers from station-driver / Microsoft Update Catalog. Latest Nahimic is working fine for me too on an outdated realtek driver - received the SWC 3.3.3.0 as an optional update and then got the 1.8.6 nahimic version inside microsoft store.
For what it is worth; I tried both "9186.1" and "9202.1" and neither work for me.
The last version works for me is "9175.1" (Nahimic is upgradable to v1.8.6 via the MS Store and works correctly)
Ok so i have some news to share, I will be rebuilding the Installer which will require a system from each generation starting from 6th gen all the way to 11th gen and beyond.
This means i will be running testing sessions for said new installer under a CLOSED Testing system.
If you have an MSI LAPTOP that is 6th gen or above and would like to register your interest please DM me. As this will be a CLOSED Testing session this means no discussion will be done on public facing mediums, it will all be done via Group DM's.

Right just a heads up my Proxmox VM Server is going to be down for 2 days for security hardening, this means that the Dev Box will be offline for 2 days. I will be backing it up first so no loss of data will happen.
Also found an issue with the new installer too. Uninstall has got mixed up with Downgrade and Downgrade got mixed up with Uninstall oops. I have correct that ready for next build.
Thank you for testing it bud. I have tried Windows 11 myself to see what its like the Start Menu i hate but at last there is some sense in the Settings area which i do like.

Issue: Nahimic 3 reports its device is not compatible basically not working.
Solution: Run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9205.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Uninstall, after it has rebooted your system re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9205.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install.
Issue: Sound has become muffled/suppressed/distorted.
Solution: Run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9205.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Uninstall, after it has rebooted your system re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9205.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install.
Issue: I don't want the Nahimic 3 Bloatware!
Solution: Run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9205.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Install Without Nahimic

Hello, I made a dumb mistake of not looking up about APO3 and APO4 was and accidentally installed the APO4 on a 7th gen device, and then making another mistake of not fully uninstalling before installing the APO3 one, and now after series of DDU uninstallation and reverting back to previous working driver (6.0.1.9175.1), the Nahimic App simply doesn't work on my laptop anymore and keep giving me Nahimic could not be launched error. I have a hunch that something must have been left behind from the APO4 installation inside my laptop for the Nahimic App to not work anymore even on a previous version. Any pointers to where I should be looking at is greatly appreciated, thanks!

maybe its corrupted update or something dt know wtf is happening coz i tryed to renistall it with clean realtek installation and so on even tryed to go back to restore point and its wierd since the previos version is working but then aain when update is installing its the nahimic app is not starting :/. Realtek is 6.0.9147.1 and Nahimic is 3.3.3.0. Dt know whats wrong with it. Maybe here I can get some help with it?
