the codec folder is not necessary as the HDXACPMSI.inf, HDXMSI.inf, HDXSSTMSI.inf files and main/base codec driver files for 9215 are there in the \UAD64\ folder (and not inside the \UAD64\Realtek\ folder as the codec_xxxx folder was not created inside the Realtek folder)
also, Nahimic3 UWP v1.8.9.0 app is available from MS store - and also available inside ASRock's Nahimic3 utility ver:210913_APO3 package.
while most of the Monster series notebook pcs use Clevo based Realtek UAD drivers, a few of their models do use MSI based Realtek UAD drivers (and I consider those few Monster laptops to be "MSI clones")
and as for Win11, it currently feels like a half-baked or half-finished OS and doesn't feel ready for prime time yet, judging from some of the reactions here & here

hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
On the GE73 simply follow these steps
Code:1) Open CMD as Admin 2) Type "bcdedit /set testsigning on" (Without the Quotes) 3) Reboot the system 4) Now open Powershell as Admin (important) 5) Cd into c:\Audio\9210.1\scripts folder 6) Type "PowerShell -NoProfile -NonInteractive -InputFormat None -ExecutionPolicy Bypass ./FullInstallAPO3.ps1" (Again without the quotes) 7) After this finishes type "bcdedit /set testsigning off" (again without the quotes) 8) Reboot the system one last time
@epguy3 i have checked the files and see the codec files are in fact there as you said, i shell work on this driver later today.
Now for some bad news for you all with things going on in my life there is a chance that the time i normally have will not longer be there, not only that with the recent drivers it proves that i need to test the driver on hardware before posting as i can't do that right now due to needing to replace the mainboard and the gpu on my GT72 to get it back to working order this next driver will be the last for the time being.
Its not fair on you the end user to have these issues and it sure doesn't help me programming blind, also don't get me started on Windows 11 either thats another issue thats a PIA to deal with. -

All good things must come to an end, this will be the very last driver for a while, due to being unable to test the driver on bare metal

hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
-
@hacktrix2006
The latest 2 versions (9215 and 9238) stopped working for me (Audio Console doesn't open and Nahimic says something about the device not supported).
I already tried following the instructions (Full Uninstall and Full Install) but to no avail.
9210 drivers works fine, even after updating the apps to the latest version (Nahimic v1.8.9 & Realtek Audio Console v1.29.256.0).
I have an MSI GS73VR-7RF on Windows 10 21H1 x64.
DeviceID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0899&SUBSYS_146211AC&REV_1000.
Note: I installed the APO3 version, which i believe it's the correct one in my case. -
The previous version(9210), when I had Windows 10, it worked APO4, but now I have Windows 11 and it works APO3, but APO4 not work.
Please check and fix it
I have an Windows 11 21H2
DeviceID:
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_1220&SUBSYS_1462DA78&REV_1000
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_1220&SUBSYS_1462DA78 -
If possible, put Nahimic 3 and Nahimic 4 separately in the installation program (alone)

hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
@bbb18 I have checked the ID and its not in the drivers however please download the attached fix into the c:\audio\9238.1\Win64 folder if asked overwrite the files then head to c:\audio\9238.1 and execute launch.exe this should fix your issue
@DVB-Yas You don't say what model you have or even CPU if you have a 6th 7th or 8th gen CPU APO 3 is all that will work. But you have also hit the issue with Windows 11 that has been reported before. However checking the ID in the driver list its in the APO3 driver section.
Can you try the following steps
Code:1) Open CMD as Admin 2) Type "bcdedit /set testsigning on" (Without the Quotes) 3) Reboot the system 4) Now open Powershell as Admin (important) 5) Cd into c:\Audio\9238.1\scripts folder 6) Type "PowerShell -NoProfile -NonInteractive -InputFormat None -ExecutionPolicy Bypass ./FullInstallAPO3.ps1" (Again without the quotes) 7) After this finishes type "bcdedit /set testsigning off" (again without the quotes) 8) Reboot the system one last time
As for your device ID DVB its in the driver so its something getting blocked somewhere hence the above.Attached Files:

@DVB-Yas You have secure boot disabled in bios? Did you see a Windows Watermark when it rebooted to install the driver?
Last edited: Oct 15, 2021 -
I did it according to your instructions, but still the driver was not installed
I installed the
I restarted
I added my hardware ID inAPO4\Extension\AVoluteNH3Ext.inf and it was easily installed in test mode

hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
@DVB-Yas did you run the commands like in the quote earlier? or did you execute the APO4 installer script from the /scripts folder ?
Reason i am asking is to find where this bug is.
Downside to installing APO4 is if your Laptop model is not in NH3ProductSettings.cab file EQ will not work, you can't even edit that file either to add a speaker config.Last edited: Oct 15, 2021 -
And right click on the AVoluteNH3Ext.inf and install
The main problem with this 6.0.1.9238.1 is that the original sound card driver is not installed.
Because the previous version(6.0.1.9210.1) was installed and working properly -
hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
Which means 9210 drivers would of been fully uninstalled before that reboot.DVB-Yas likes this. -
I tried your fix, overwrited the files when asked, but unfortunately it did not work for me, i get the same results.
The apps are installed, but the driver is not, therefore Audio Console opens but it doesn't show anything (only the infinite "processing" circle) and Nahimic states my device is not supported (not sure if it helps, but Nahimic Companion is also not installed, like the 9210).
9210 (with the updated apps from your 9238 driverpack) still works fine though.
If you have any other idea that might help you fix this (if it's fixable), please let me know and as soon as i'm able i will do my best to aid you. -

@hacktrix2006 first of all i want to thank you for your efforts. i'm using ur drivers on my msi GE73VR and it works flawlessly without any issue.
but recently i updated my laptop (still using the msi ) and i moved to Asus G533QR with AMD 5900hx and RTX 3070. with this audio chipset Realtek ALC285, and i love the nahamic more than the dolby atmos which is included with my setup. i was wondering if it possible to install and run nahamic3 on this device too?
thank u again ) -

Also 7th gen is APO3 only APO4 is for 10th gen and above
If you PM me i could Teamviewer in and see whats going on.
But at this rate i will removing APO4 as these issues really seem to be since i changed the installer to include APO4 into the package.Last edited: Oct 20, 2021 -

@imanuky Windows 10 should work, this might sound strange run a Display Driver Uninstaller run and select AUDIO do it in safe mode with networking (Just incase you have a Microsoft Account that you log in with) then restart with no network and try running the script again. If it fails after that then hit me up in DM's and i will remote in and have a look to see whats going on.
As your device ID is in the list of drivers id's so it should be installing without issue. -
II have tried to install as indicated but it has not worked. I will wait for the next version. Thank you. -

@imanuky If your sure to wait for next version it might be awhile as my time is very limited now adays.

- From "9215.1" to "9250.1", there is a bug over the "PowerShell Script" at "APO3".
Says something in red, like "error over condition if - AVoluteNH3Ext.inf", and it doesn't work.
-It clears and unistalls everything good, but only "install the Nahimic App, without any driver".
I made a little frankestein, with "9210 installer" and i could install the "9250 version" with it.
--The old installers, work too over "Windows 11" without any problem. If you update to Windows 11, i recomend you to reinstall this driver, cause over installation process, will delete them, as they are "not signed".hacktrix2006 likes this. -

You might have found the bug that is causing the installer issues. Nice find.

@Ricardo_estep Your not going to believe what caused the issue a simple { } set was missing.
Would you be willing to test the correct script please.
Just override the file in the /Scripts folder bud and run the command like you did before.
I even checked the APO4 script too and that had the same errors. Sorry everyone for stuffing up with the scripting.Attached Files:

***Don't panic if the new Laptops/Systems are not in the list they will be supported they are more likely supported, install the drivers and if it works let me know your Model Number and it will get added to the list.***
Install instructions:
- Disconnect from the internet. (Not Required, so very Optional)
- Reboot System and Enter BIOS/UEFI.
- Please DISABLE SECUREBOOT in your BIOS this is now important for this new installer!
- Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software (Some Anti-Virus tools might false report and delete the file!).
- Now run the Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9250.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe Installer
- Select either Full Install, Install Without Nahimic, Full Uninstall or Downgrade Nahimic 3.
- Sit back and relax as the UWP's get uninstalled, the driver gets uninstalled and then your system is rebooted into test signing mode and everything is installed and your system is rebooted again!
- Now head back into your BIOS/UEFI and Re-enable SecureBoot!!
- Now let the system boot up fully and re-enable the internet connection. (Only if you disconnected from the internet)

@asm1 Please update the OP when you have time thank you.
All good things must come to an end, this will be the very last driver for a while, due to being unable to test the driver on bare metal
and the fact that my time might soon be very limited as things in my life are changing hopefully for the better!.
@imanuky @DVB-Yas @bbb18 This should fix your issue, please delete the original c:\audio\9250.1 folder before running the installer.bbb18 and Ricardo_estep like this. -
@hacktrix2006 I have tested, and reinstalled, "9250.1" drivers completly without any problems now. Thank you so much
.
@epguy3 I couldn't test "9238.1", but, i normally use "Dolby Atmos" too, with the "Nahimic 3 Processing". At the moment, it doesnt sound bad with "9250.1". I didn't notice too, about, "hard" changes at sound from "9210.1". If your sound becomes "compressed", you should don't forget to enable this.
--Looks like there is a " new option" too over "Windows 11". I don't know at all what it does...But it has to be enable from here.

Looking for someone to help out with the driver packs installer if anyone is interested hit me up on PM's.

@hacktrix2006 Sorry for the delay reply. I also confirm the new version works as intended!
I noticed that it took a little while longer to install than the previous versions, and now some Steelseries Devices appears (probably due to the new drivers) but i don't mind too much
Thank you again for all the amazing work!!hacktrix2006 likes this. -
