Nahimic 3 on "unsupported systems"

@WildCard65 Reason i placed it as it is now is because of Windows 10 1803/1809 and 1903 is different on 1903 It no longer has a Volume Mixer hence going though settings and following though to Personalization -> Themes -> Sounds that way, as this makes it more universal.

 

Windows 10 V1903 still has Volume Mixer:

Right clicking brings up a menu that has, "Open Volume Mixer"

hacktrix2006, i have a MSI GS73VR-7RF and i saw that the GS63VR-7RF, is compatible. This two laptops are pretty much the same, only the monitor changes. Will this driver be compatible with my model, or it requires modding the .inf files?

It compatible with all Nahimic 2+ systems follow instructions and your off to the races. If you are using Nahimic 2 uninstall Nahimic 2 reboot, then uninstall Realtek HDA drivers, then reboot with driver enforcement off and only use the installer. The uninstaller is for the UAD Drivers and UWP apps for when your updating.

Other then that it will work on 4th gen upwards.

My system is back online, all up and running. Right so Beta testers I will be making a new build for testing.

I will need any bugs found to be reported, this excludes any MSI branding in Realtek UWP as this is fixed. Basically I am wanting to see if not changing the Nahimic 3 cab file will now work without modifying it. Hopefully the lag and missing equaliser issue should be fixed.

- Disconnect from the internet (Blame Microsoft as they are still able to install drivers from Windows Update even when blocked with .reg file).

- Run the Uninstaller.exe Application, Then select "Yes", then "No, I will restart my computer later", the system will then reboot into Advance Boot Menu

- Once your at the Advance Boot Menu proceed to Select “Troubleshoot” -> Advanced options -> Startup Settings -> select “Disable driver signature enforcement” option.

- Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software.

- Copy to desktop then Right-click/Run as administrator "Realtek_UAD...mod.exe".

- When prompted (2x/3x) select "Install driver software anyway"

- Realtek installer, select "No, I will restart my computer later" to continue with RTK Audio Console & Nahimic installation (Invisible install)

- Check Start Menu to ensure Realtek Audio Control UWP and Nahimic 3 has been installed.

- Finally, reboot.

- Now you can safely connect to the internet (Yes middle finger Microsoft).

Jack Detection not working, simply go to Realtek Audio Console Disable and Re-enable it.
Microphone no longer working after Nahimic Optimises, click Reset inside Nahimic will fix this.

Hello everyone! I have MSI GT72 2QE with i7 5700HQ. Can I somehow make Nahimic 3 woriking on my laptop or its not possible? I tryed modifed drivers from @hacktrix2006 but it didnt work... I guess coz my laptop is not on the list. Maybe anyone has a solution or modifed drivers for my lptop? @hacktrix2006 maybe you can hellp me out? Thank you

 

Right did you read my instructions?
Did you disable driver enforcement?
Did you disable any anti-virus?

See any and I mean any laptop that was running Nahimic 1, 2 or 2+ can run Nahimic 3 with these modded drivers.

Firstly uninstall any old Nahimic 1 or 2 drivers and the Nahimic 1 or 2 app and reboot your laptop.

Make sure you have Windows 10 and it's on with 1803/ 1809/ 1903.

Now run the uninstaller this will reboot your system to a menu now follow the instructions set in the same post as each new driver.

any chance you can include GT72s 6qe I have the atmos/hometheater/soundblasterconnect/dts/nahimic3 modded driver and was wondering if I could just get the nahimic three driver that you have here cause that one is causing me some audio issues lol

P.S I tried everything to make the older versions and newer one work and the modded driver just would not load (with driver enforcement off etc...) i followed the instructions to the lettrer and only the Realtek audio console would work

 

Well the GT72-6QD/QE/QF works with my modded drivers, i also run a GT72-6QD and have no issues what so every.

Just to confirm your running Windows 10 Builds 1803/1809/1903?

Also did you disable the anti-virus, fully uninstalled the old driver? You can't use the uninstaller on HDA drivers you need to manually uninstall all drivers for HDA and it's apps. The uninstaller is for UAD drivers only.

So uninstall what drivers you have be disconnected from the internet as you do it. The best way to uninstall drivers is using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) latest version and doing it in safe mode.

Once you have done that and uninstalled all the applications then run my uninstaller or use the following command in run box

This will reboot into advance bootmenu. Disable driver signature enforcement whilst still disconnected from internet and run my all in one driver installer.

Also make sure you've closed Skype down if you use it.

I have testers and test install each driver for issues as well as run everything on my main system to be sure it works.

Yep did everything step by step... my windows version is 1809 but no luck when i run nahimic 3 its just saying something like "your device or system is not supported" any ides? But anyone here tryed to run nahimic on 5th genertion like mine msi gt72 2qe? hacktrix2006 maybe you have any ideas how to make it work and thanks for the topic and your drivers anyway since its helping others

 

Give me a screenshot of your Software Componets section in device manager.
Then a screen shot of the A-Volute Nh3 Audio Effects Component Driver tab.

Which means driver signature enforcement is not being turned off as the 2 files that are modded are not showing there.

There should also be Realtek audio in there too, so please use the uninstaller and try again.

Well tryed even to update to windows 1903... nothing is working for me mate ;( Did everything right according to ur instructions of izationinstalization... well im not stuppid so I'm sure I did everything right but Nahimic still giving me a window with text something like "the audio driver is not updated or your device or system is not supported"... Well I guess my laptop is old... and I think that mine MSI GT72 2QE with i7 5700HQ not gonnaa work with this software ;( well too bad to see that... @hacktrix2006 maybe you have any other methods to make it work or solutions for that? thx

The version in the latest driver is Versoin 1.3.2.0 so it looks like the issue your having is down to microsoft installing the drivers over the top of the modded ones, There is in the same thread as the driver an attached .zip called Windows Auto Driver Updates, download that and inside is two reg files the one you need to use is Disable Auto Driver Updates.reg, merge that reg file to your registery and use the uninstaller again and try again. Your getting closer.

i uninstalled everything to my knowledge (i need some kind of program to wipe all audio drivers from my system to be sure)
I have disabled windows updating my drivers

I used the installation you have and had it restart my system to disable the driver enforcement
i have done this 10 times...

@hacktrix2006 Hey man! I've been out busy with a new work project...I can easily beta test future versions as I'm less busy for the time being
Will need to install a fresh new Win10 ltsc march '19 updated though as my current Win10 1903 home is too messed up from my own tinkering with GPO and other stuff lol.
PS: I have the GT73VR with a skylake 6870HK and CM236 chipset (Sabre 9xxx series DAC).

- Disconnect from the internet (Blame Microsoft as they are still able to install drivers from Windows Update even when blocked with .reg file).

- Run the Uninstaller.exe Application, Then select "Yes", then "No, I will restart my computer later", the system will then reboot into Advance Boot Menu

- Once your at the Advance Boot Menu proceed to Select “Troubleshoot” -> Advanced options -> Startup Settings -> select “Disable driver signature enforcement” option.

- Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software.

- Copy to desktop then Right-click/Run as administrator "Realtek_UAD...mod.exe".

- When prompted (2x/3x) select "Install driver software anyway"

- Realtek installer, select "No, I will restart my computer later" to continue with RTK Audio Console & Nahimic installation (Invisible install)

- Check Start Menu to ensure Realtek Audio Control UWP and Nahimic 3 has been installed.

- Finally, reboot.

- Now you can safely connect to the internet (Yes middle finger Microsoft).

Known possible bugs and fixes:
Issue: Jack Detection not working.
Solution: Simply go to Realtek Audio Console Disable and Re-enable it.

Issue: Microphone not working after using Nahimic Optimizer.
Solution: Click Reset inside Nahimic Settings section will fix this.

Issue: Realtek UAD Driver is asking to uninstall a driver.
Solution: Let it happen, currently it's not known that doing this causes any issues with the UAD driver (could change in the future).
The only requirement, you must restart manually (the "No" option), and use the following command in the run box (WINKEY+R):

@hacktrix2006 i was just googling around for latest audio driver update for my GT73VR 6RF Titan Pro just came across your thread , i was wondering i this will work on my machine ? i still havnt fully understood how to install thought to ask if it gona work in first place.

 

If it's an MSI system that has Nahimic before hand then yes it will work just make sure that all older drivers HDA and Nahimic 2 is uninstalled before running the files I have posted.

Follow the instructions and you should be golden.

Yes my current audio driver is 6.0.1.8172 with Nahmic 2.3.21 running but i saw your compatible list and didnt saw 73VR "6RF" mentioned only "7RF" mentioned do they both use same hardware ?

 

Yes, the list is not complete yet, however it will work fine on all Nahimic based MSI Laptops and Desktops.

Works on a GS63 6RF as well as a GT75 7RF so it will work on a GT73VR 6RF

@hacktrix2006 ok I just finished Installing so far preliminary test audio is working and Mic is working aswel if i face or find any issue ill let ya know thanks a bunch for doing this for community ..... now time to see whats the fuss is about this nahimic 3
