    Listen, probably not going to be that easy to replace the Wifi card in your GS63, just because of the way the GS series is designed... Also Killer Wifi Card is part of the whole networking package on the GS63, so don't replace it as you might break other stuff like the LAN connection :D

    I am considering to buy either AW17 R4 or MSI GT73VR laptop. Based on the discussions i have seen here, I am not sure if the problems being faced with killer wifi have been fixed? Is it advisable to stick with the stock Killer 1535 or should i switch to intel 8265?

    "Intel has made the decision to discontinue marketing and development of Intel® WiDi and Intel® Pro WiDi applications and related receiver certification program effective immediately.

    Now that the Miracast* standard is natively supported in the Microsoft Windows* 8.1 and 10 operating system for wireless display capabilities with strong user experience, Intel is redirecting its resources and focus to future areas of growth."

    I would say stick with killer 1535 and stock windows drivers for max. compatibility. If things don't pan out you can invest in 8260( 8265 is same as 8260 in terms of functionality and range)

    @Papusan: New drivers based on new software layer named Killer control Center are out live! Very good driver. No BSOD after resuming from sleep and no disconnection and important thing is they listened to customers, CPU usage is very low overall. Very slick and fluidic.
    @Killer_Networking Nice work. :)

    Killer NW Manager is in the grave, now its Killer Control Center which is far superior and reliable. @judal57 and me tested it.
