Lastnight one of my routers stopped working, couldn't get an IP address. They are both linked together.... Had it happen once before and this was due to a heatwave, lastnight there was a bit of a increase in heat too....

Not sure if it is related..... Do you think it is an idea to try these upside down since the air vents are on the bottom?

edit: First time it happened was on a 2011 firmware, and yesterday am on the latest May 2012 firmware.

Have any of you guys tried the official USB Printer software?

Any idea what the difference is between the two in the download section of the tp-link website?

    TL-WR1043ND_USB Printer Controller_Utility
    and
    TL-WR1043ND_TP-Link_UDS_Printer_Controller

If you're gathering statistics, my router (TP-Link) runs in a room that is probably at 110F during hot summer days and is yet to stop/hang (I'm on some older DD-WRT firmware)

    Thanks.
Going to have to test it connected directly to my 1st router.... Either the cable running outside has gone or the router has....

    NOTE:

Anyone having problems with router locking up because of high traffic (may happen even every few days) should use this beta firmware.

EDIT: Not that the firmware solves the issue ;)
