I don't know how many of you Notebook users out there use BatteryBar to get an accurate reading of your battery time, battery wear, or watt usage BUT you can get the pro version for whatever you feel comfortable with from $.01 and above.

Personally, I prefer BatteryCare but BatteryBar is definitely still a good program, especially at any cost.

The one thing I like most about BatteryBar is the big icon it puts on your taskbar. I normally don't like stuff cluttering up my desktop or taskbar, but in this case, it's a quick visual indicator of charging or battery life left status.

To go with that, you have the option to hide the bar when you're plugged in. I really like that feature. -
Exactly. If I didn't use Thinkpads with their Power Manager software, I'd definitely be using Battery Bar... I did on my old Averatec when I still used Windows on it
