Wow, this is all so awsome. Wish I had more spare coin at the moment. So many things I'd love to buy!

 

I'm now a bit confused about this thing. Let's say I buy something on July 29, the day before Bing closes up shop. Would I be able to retrieve my cashback even though there's a waiting period?

 

says they will be givin it till 2011, not 2010. so I guess we will have to wait.

 

You can receive Bing cashback through July 30, 2010. You can retrieve your BCB reward through July 30, 2011, with same waiting period as before (4-8 weeks).

There's a nice 47" LG TV for $682 after cashback in there. So tempted.

You need to turn off ad blocking addons, wouldn't work on chrome for me but it worked on my relatively addon free firefox beta. It'll be under sponsored sites.

 

No Best Buy store that I can find. I can't seem to follow these instructions. I get the LCD TV results page, but then I can't get to a Best Buy link. It is not one of the sites listed under sponsored sites.

I don't think Bing will take that long. Hopefully, you will hear back w/in a few hours. I had a friend that made a purchase and they got e-mail confirmation w/in 3 hours.

I just bought the Asus G60JX. I haven't received any emails but hope to soon. If all goes right, I will have purchased this laptop for $629.20!!!

$899 internet price. $809 store price. I called the store and they agreed to give me $90 store credit when I pick the laptop up! So... $899 - $179.80 - $90 = $629.20

Did you get to the site by doing the search at bing.com typing in the keyword until you got the BestBuy link at top that said 20%, then the in-browser popup to log in to Bing Cashback?

Yes. I set up a live.com email and followed these instructions to the T.

I still have no email. Maybe I should call bing customer service... I assume there is such a thing.

 

I just checked my bing cashback account and it asked me for more information... address and phone number. I fill it out and submit and it says "congratulations your cashback account is now ready". What happened. I followed the instructions to a T. I didn't open my cashback account before I purchased the laptop, but I didn't know I needed to.


I don't know what to think right now. I will file a new service request tonight even though it says to wait 48 hours.

 

I think it would be ok for you to resubmit if you do not want to wait the full 48 hours. They are really good at followup & follow thru.

Just have all your purchase information, etc. ready to place in the query form. I had 2 situations with Bing & things worked out in the end. One, where Dell cancelled and order..it was resubmiitted & Dell disputed the Bing CB amount. So, I had to contact Bing CS and they looked into it & resubmitted my CB as it was.

It took me forever, I tried many times:
Nintendo, PS3, Canon Camera, Sony Camera, Bose Headphones, etc

The one that finally got it was: stereo install...

Thats the problem I had, the ps3 I want isnt available yet, so I dont want to get screwed pre ordering it, and not get my bing cash back Its the same $349.99 as the currently available one, but the one I want comes with a free game.

I also would buy a nice laptop if they had any worth a damn, but their g73 are the cheaper screen ones, not the 1920x1200

 

Any idea on how much longer the cash back lasts?

Thanks Cin! Just got my cashback after buying the Asus G60JX. Bing Customer Service came through after a few days of exchanging emails.

So far, I am very pleased with my purchase... Great value for the dollar!!!

 

Wish this 20% was still going..sigh! Just bought my sister a studio xps 16 from BB but only got 5% back.
