this is the lowest price i have ever seen. 36.99 shipped, just throwing this out there for those who are on the fence about buying ram.
-
Shouldn't this be in deals section?
-
Nice find! It's the same RAM that I'm using in my HP Pavilion dv6500t SE. This extra kit will make a nice addition to the gently used HP dv2700 I just picked up. =D
-
Yeah, we have a deals section as well as a hot deals on ram section
-
Definitely not lowest ever.

That's PC-5300 (667).
OCZ is PC-6400 (800) -
And those other deals are AR, this is just shipped with no rebate to wait for.

Thanks for moving the topic.
how is the ram? i read one comment that it was hot. I never bought notebook ram before, is that normal to run hot? OR maybe that was just him -
I'm tempted, but I know if I wait, the price can only go lower.
-
Aww, I bought the PC5400 4Gb kit of OCZ over the summer for $68 and I thought i was getting a good deal.
I need to be more patient, it will save me some money

I spent 300 on a pentium 4 also, and now they are going for 30 :/ i think its better to spend more and have it. 30 dollars savings isnt bad for a year!
-
haha i m trying to buy ram before i get the 1% increase in tax.
-
The RAM runs exceptionally cool... of course, this is purely subjective as I have no way of measuring or recording the temperature of my RAM. But I can say that the RAM is warm to the touch at full load.
Well, playing that game is nothing but an endless, frustrating, and vicious cycle. The price is right, and with free shipping, you really can't beat it. I mean hell, it's $37 bucks including shipping. If this were a $1,500 laptop then yeah, I'd say that you have case for waiting for the price to go lower.
But we're talking less than $40 for some kick butt, high quality notebook memory on the cheap. How much lower does an already low as hell price have to be before making a purchase?
I dunno. It just seems silly to wait for the price to go lower when it's already at a dirt cheap price. -
will the boost noticeable if I upgrade DDR2 667 => DDR2 800 ?
P8600 with PM45. -
Oh no, not 30 cents increase in price!

It says the "original" price was $39.99 could that be right?
-
no, newegg original prices varies lol, i think the old original price was like 51, cause i was going to buy the ram last week when it was 43.99 with 8 dollars saving.
DDR2 800 OZC RAM for $37
