I've just seen this bargain of a HP HDX18 1201 ea notebook being auctioned on ebay. It's got about 4 days to go and has only reached £390.00 UK pounds.
I think it's only for people who live in the UK.
I just thought someone here might be interested.

Of course its cheap now theres still 4 days left!

The price hasn't budged. It's still £390 with two days to go.

With these auctions, you will see the bids and price skyrocket within a few hours until the bidding ends, I wouldn't get my hopes up of getting a deal.
Just wait, right before the auction ends, you will see a flurry of bids and the price will dramatically rise. -
The Fire Snake Notebook Virtuoso
This is very true. I see it happen all the time. -
You are indeed right. I joined ebay a week ago wanting to find a cheap laptop, but have consequently given up and bought a new one. I was biding on a HP Pavilion dv6-1215sa, and was the highest bidder for 4 days until today when it went from £320.00 to £436.00 + £25.00 shipping. It seems to me to be a mugs game, as I have now purchased a newer model with the same spec for £448.36 including shipping.
