    The $300 off on the dv5t doesn't seem to be working. I wonder if there's a conflict with the $150 instant rebate.

    to be fair, the 300 off coupon is roughly of black friday calibur, especially for the budget notebooks.

    Sure, but I was ready to buy at $300 off (of $1000) - and now I plan to wait instead of buying (an HP DV5t). Who knows, possibly Dell will offer a better deal in the interim.
