    The one I called is in St. Catharines, Ontario (I live 20min~ out on campus). ;)

    I just ordered from Best Buys website. It still shows the full price but according to CAG.com Best Buy has decided to sell their stock and will refund the difference tomorrow when you pick them up.

    I just ordered one tonight. I also expect Office Max and HHGREGG to do the same.

    Cross the border and grab one from the Future Shop in Niagara Falls, ON :p (providing you call ahead to confirm if they have one) :D

    ...That is, if you want it that bad. I've done the same for Dell Outlet US items before (crossing over to the US was cake) ;)

    I've never really felt the need for a tablet but at the $99 price this is too good to pass up.

    Would anyone be willing to buy one for me and send it to the UK? I'm trying to keep it under $160 ($100 tablet + $30 shipping + ~$30 at customs).

    I ordered one of each. There's an Android mod team that's working on moving Android to the TouchPad. I'm also curious if Windows 8 will run on the HP TouchPad. ;)

    Both devices are in the Shipping Soon status :)

    its pretty exciting that this will get a andriod mod as CyanogenMod contributor Erik Hardesty said on Twitter Saturday afternoon that he planned to work on a version of the custom Android firmware for HP's tablet!

    If the Android thing works out this may be the best investment yet!

    I was tempted to buy one for both my kids, but no, they're gonna be 3 and 4 yrs old, a little young. I'd rather get them a v.smile or leapfrog. But it's hard to resist something like this. I wanna buy TEN! :p

    Tempted to buy one just to disassemble and play with it.

    My cat, Dweezil...he would have ripped the ipad to shreds. He's just not cool like that. Well, sometimes he is... :twitchy:

    Looking forward to seeing if they can make it root to Android. I have the Nook Color Tablet rooted and it's pretty awesome! :D

    Except WebOS is now defunct. So I'd rather have an open source OS with continued development and support than one that gets none, or very little. Unless HP makes WebOS open source, but I don't see that happening.

    Meh, just realized that there is no external expansion slot!? Wonder if you can use a micro USB thumb drive for additional storage?

    I wish they would make it open source, but for some reasons companies like to hold on to the IP until it's worthless for some stupid reason. "Just in case" I guess. Maybe they'll sell it to someone.

    Unless TouchDroid works close to perfect, I think I would be happy with WebOS considering the price if I'm able to get a TouchPad.
