    they just updated the quik office app to support full editing of regular document files then saving onto the cloud, this thing might become my new word processor!

    Hmm Amazon has them in stock? But price is like $240ish so I guess they were not all sold but the price was a temporary thing.

    Or is it just that there is more than one model and this pricing was specific to only one.

    That's likely through a Amazon Marketplace seller, not Amazon themselves. You could ask them if they'd price match, but I'd personally wait until HP does the 2nd round of sales via their website this week.

    I got mine yesterday. Got to say, it was very slow at first. Once I overclocked to 1.8Ghz and put all the preware tweaks on, its faster than my iPad!

    For $100, I really want a touchpad to put android on. I was going to get a nook but I might as well try for a touchpad at this price. Hopefully hp will put more up for sale on their web site this week.

    HP store orders prior to 4am 8/22 they will attempt to fulfill all. That sucks for the rest of us though. If they are making another run why not double that and let all those that went through OnSale get theirs too. :( Screwed all the way. :(

    I haven't installed any updates or tweaked it and things seem to work well enough. I will probably do all that when I'm done using a flash card app for studying.

    No worries. If you didn't get a HP TouchPad during the fire sake do not buy one from eBay or local online Buy & Sell for more than what the seller bought the TouchPad for.

    Android Tablet are dropping price, I think a 16GB Iconia can already be had for $299 which is still quite a bit more expensive than $99 16GB HP TouchPad if you're the lucky few who got one during the fire sale but if you're dumb enough to buy a HP TouchPad off eBay or local Buy & Sell for up to $200 more than the fire sale than you may as well for a real Android Tablet and let those HP fire sale resellers rot in hell with their non-refundable HP TouchPad units.

    Just my two cents on those who grabbed more than 2 units thinking they'd pull some quick cash on a Tablet that in clearly inferior to all Tegra 2 Tablets on the market. Have fun with your 5+ HP TouchPads. :D

    I'd wait for Amazon's device which is rumored to be a 7" Android Tablet for $250 and will include Amazon Prime for free. :)
