Ha, that was me. Sadly I'm still the only 1 as of this post to give him bad feeback. Granted, I truly havent gotten it still. But the main point of it was to stop, or make others aware that it was a scam.

I picked up the drives today. The packaging wasn't too suspicious (besides what looks like identical serial numbers), but the drives themselves feel quite light.

I'm testing one right now, so far, 20 gigs have been written without issue.

How high will go? I'd say ~30 gigs, 60 gigs max.

    Only time will tell.

you have to write to the USB then copy to another folder. Writing usually goes fine, its when you try copy out where the errors come.

    Download that testing program

I should've said the testing program is writing that data, it'll verify the data when the writing completes.

Well, I verified the written data, and only 3 gigs was available on each.

My complaint with Ebay should end in a few days, and I should be getting a refund.

So, it looks like I'm getting three free 3GB flash drives. But, honestly, these drives are so crappy that I'd never use them. :(

This brings back bad memories of how I got scammed for a Sony Vaio laptop on ebay a few years ago. I paid just over £300, the guy never shipped em and ebay only refunded me £150 because thats all they're legally bound to and they don't care about buyers. They've since raised their buyer protection to £500 I think, after too much bad publicity. I was a kid then and losing that £150 sent me into a debt spiral that I didnt recover from for over a year.

Beware of ebay is all I can say. Use your head. My mistake was trusting stock pics instead of asking why he didnt take pics of the actual product he was claiming to sell.

saw your negative feedback there. But most of the feedbacks on this item are positive except one: delayed shipment or the buyer never received the item.

Yes those are fake, the feedback alone scares me.

Yes you can get a full refund, just act fast and report it now before the sellers gets a chance to get away.

You probably dont need to send them back, unless buyer pays for the shipping. They only hold about 3 gigs of unreliable data storage so its not even worth keeping.

One problem, i reported the seller and opened a dispute but now i gotta wait a week for him to "reply" which i know they wont, they probably transferring all the money to their bank, while im here waiting for their response. By then, they wont even use that account anymore, does this mean that paypal covers the lost amount?

No, Paypal never takes money out of their own pockets

Whatever they can funds they recover from the seller (if any) they will split it up with the people who got scammed. So you could end up with a few dollars.

The whole Paypal protection is basically a big middle finger to buyers.

It actually holds 2.2GB the rest is just corrupted files. So the other 27.8GB of data you transferred are probably corrupted files.

It will keep re-writing data over and over the little space it actually has.
