-

-
my setup
-
That picture doesnt reallly show your setup unless your tealking about your signature?
-
Do you have two logitech's Z2300? Because I miss a second subwoofer, you have 4 satellites?
-
You make me jealous...I wanted a 1730 but didnt have the proper time to save.
Yeah it could have been set on the crappiest desk in a run down house full of roaches and Id say its a nice setup.
-
Where do you go to college to get a nice room like that? I got a rundown room with (presumably) no heat.
-
Its just one Logitech Z-2300 hooked up to Four Z-2300 satellites

Yeah I really do love my wacom. It's really nice and handy. -
I really need to post pics of my desk/space at home.
Always...the procrastinator..though
It's nice to see everyones set ups!
-
Just a quick snapshot of my setup, I have my 6860, a Targus ChillMat, Logitech L3 mouse, Belkin USB Hub and some ten year old Boston (?) speakers.
and also a WD 320 GB External Disk along with 480 GB inside the laptop -
Just moved into my "Dorm room." It's not quite perfect but I will tweak it as I "break it in." I'm trying to get Windows Media Center working between my PC and 360 so that I can use the Tivo functionality of my PC w/ my TV. I also need to pick out some new speakers, otherwise my insignia's will have to do (when I find time to set them up).
Madden 09 FTW.
-
Dude nice dorm room and great set up! The only thing i would change is a bigger bed but then again i'm a "starfish" sleeper. That altoids can thing is cool if you get the chance can you post a close up of it?
-
That's a John Seabers built cMoy BB 2.0 headphone amp, it's a very nice/simple/cheap little unit. It's must if you have a set of mid-range headphones.
-
That's awesome where'd you get and what did it set you back?
-
I was browsing eBay when I came across it- there are lots of pre-built amps there, but John is an electrical engineering student who designed and built his own PCB and now sells them "on the side" as he goes to school- great guy who knows what he's doing.
Here are some sites to get you started:
http://jseaber.com/cMoy/
http://www.head-fi.org/ (Careful at this one, it's a renowned money magnet of a site
)
Feel free to e-mail John if you have any questions- he has great customer service. -
This is my current setup, the two monitors are connected to a PC (not in picture) that is stowed away in the cabinet that says "danger" on it, and the laptop and PC are connected by a KVM switch. I'd post a picture with more of my current room but I don't want to make the forum think I'm crazy with all my guns & knives, haha.
-
lol crazy set up with the monitors. i know what u mean. i usually have my pieces sittin out, but had to hide them cuz i'm not sure how some notebook enthusiasts would feel about them.
-
Here is my setup, yes those books to the left are college books, costed me $600... -
Im not a dell nut but the XPS line has always made me all giddy inside. Yeah it is a nice tablet but I also like the wacom screen in my hp
Foo_ball: Where do you go to school? Around here its unheard of to have a dorm room to yourself. In fact right after I graduated they started forcing juniors and seniors to live off campus. -
Nice, could you tell me how you did that? And where you can buy 'new' (I presume that can be true) satellites?
-
you guys have nice dorm rooms. My dorm room last year was more like a prison cell than anything.
-
University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. I am in the "upper-classmen" housing this year, I had planned on off campus living, but the renter didn't have the place ready by the time I needed it. I have a decent room all to my own, I share a bathroom and kitchen with another buddy of mine. It's a lot better than the housing I've experience on campus but they certainly charge a premium for having your own room. It'll do for this year, grad school will be interesting.

Apparently they're not working.
I kid, I kid.
-
X360proGamer, could you post more pictures with that laptop? (Im thinking about getting one..)
-
you should get one, i got the 6860 and it's great
-
i count 2pcs and a notebook, sweet!
-
CrypticPH, nice guitar. I love Schecter guitars- I've got a Schecter C1 Blackjack.
-
Hey! Nice, clean set-up, nice lines... ~ that's a good thing!
-
Really? I own a little over 20 guitars, but never could get into Schecter. Not saying they aren't nice, but they have a cheap selection of hardware, and there stock pick-ups are ridiculously lousy. But, I guess the "higher-end" models that come with the EMG Actives could be nice. (EMG Passives are hilarious)
Anyway, that is a nice setup! -
Well, I've only been playing for a few years. My C1 Blackjack has Seymour Duncan pickups in it.
I absolutely live how the guitar feels and plays... of course, my dad setup the guitar, so it's a lot nicer than it was when it came from the factory. Still, for a ~$500 guitar, I think it's wonderful. -
Im perfectly fine with 2 laptops, hopefully soon Ill get off my lazy butt and frankenstien my old averatec into a home server.
to 360gamer:
Your lucky books only cost you $600, mine were usually 800-$1000+. I usually spent $200 per class, and my junior and senior years I was taking 6-7 classes a semester so do the math on that
.
-
Wow 20 guitars!?!?!?! care to post any pics of your favorites?
-
Tidus fan much?
-
Not really Tidus in particular. I was in China and they had some cheap wall scrolls so I picked some up (final fantasy, bleach, video game/anime ones like that). I'm hoping to buy some better ones soon.
-
lovin the setup Cryptic! nice guitar..what brand is that..?
-
Somewhere in this thread there's a pick of my home "jam-room". The studio we own has collectively a little over 120 guitars, not including the other equipment. I acquired most on tour, but a few just purchased around town.
Maybe I could get a picture of the storage, though this is a thread about "Computer Rooms".
There was a picture of my old jam room a few months back. (Previous home) -
WOW those are sweet guitars.
Speaking of sweet, I like Dr. Pepper too
-
nice tissue box...and i see u've used some
-
Haha thanks, that color was the only one left in the house at the time haha. Maybe I should invest in a tissue box >.>
EDIT: just out of curiosity, who is that in your avatar? -
my baby mama, hyori lee.
-
Thanks guys. Its a Schecter C1 Jolly Roger. I believe it was a limited edition special on Musiciansfriend.com, as you can't really find them anymore. It came loaded with an active EMG 81-85 set for $500. Can't beat that.
I've got it hooked up to a POD XT Live for recording.
-
Not a bad deal. I too use a PodXT Live for home jamming. Love the Vintage Amp pack. Have you tried any of the Amp Packs? You can pick both the Metal and Vintage pack up for $100. Pretty good deal.
-
Ah thought she looked familiar, haven't seen her hair like that before though, looks nice.
