DUDE WE HAVE THE SAME DESK!!!! How strange. I love mine though, just enough room, even a little more than i need, but more room to make a mess i guess. Also we have the same keyboard.

 

Oh wow. I have that desk too...

 

yeah nice desk but the only thing that's bugging me is that whole 50lbs limit on each of them and the curve part only 30lbs.

 

we drink the same bottled water too

 

I'd like to be able to say that it's plain and messy caus I just moved in but.. that was almost 2 months ago...

Ha, ive put over 75 pounds on the middle sheets, and 50+ on the edge.

 

I don't exactly have a computer room..It's just filled with 3 notebooks and 1 desktop....I need to find my camera...pics will come sooner or later...

 

Hello! My first post here....Nice to meet u guys here....
Here is my one year old desktop computer and my new Toshiba laptop....

 

I couldn't get my whole setup in one shot, so I had to stitch 2 together in Paint.

A little mod of mine that I'm quite proud of and isn't shown well in that pic is also attached. Yes kids, that is a custom PC case made of pine and poplar, stained cherry, and a full custom interior complete with 11db 120mm fans, the whole thing runs very cool and makes no audible noise at 3 ft.

I feel so obsolete...I haven't seen any other CRT monitors or celeron desktops in this thread. The two desks are so cluttered...can you even find the laptops?

I wish more people would use the attachment feature instead of filling the screen with their 2048x1985 pics. At least resize them a bit.

Here some updated pics of my setup. I took them with my BlackBerry so the quality isn't that great. Perhaps one day I'll borrow a camera and update them. I even put in a picture of my computer closet.

 

Nice box collection you got in your closet Imark Mines starting to pile up but not as much as yours though.

 

Thanks! Box collections are the best. Some of the bigger boxes have more boxes inside as well.

Yeah, all those computers are mine. Happy? Anyway, I've had some bad roommates, but I've also had a really good one too, so you'll have a decent chance. At my university they room people with the same interests...hopefully they all do, huh? Or you can do what I did and just become an RA and not have to worry about a roommate.

 

Sorry, this isn't exactly relevant, but your sig says that you have an 8600GT w/128MB of memory... I thought it was only 256MB-512MB??

 

No, there is a 128 MB version of the 8600M GT. The low end MacBook Pro has this.

I don't wanna be detailisch..so just the basics: IBM X41 tablet, Fujitsu Q2010, Logitech Dinovo keyboard, Sony G420 CRT, Eizo 19" LCD, Xerox laser printer, Canon scanner and colour printer. TV is LOEWE. The computer is inside the closet you see a bit on the very right. There are just the DVD-RWs and card reader looking out...in the silver frame.
