u'r the guy that didn't use the clear coat right? if so, how's the paint job holdin up? everythin looks like its still in nice shape.

so if you have got a desktop already then cost abouy £80 its more hard work than cost i put about 5 layers of car paint and clear on top didnt want it scraching ect

thanks for the compliment cin when i get rid of my samsung you can have it lol since i just moved i have nothing because i put this in my loft area but im gonna put a couch and then get a surround system for up here its gonna be great I also got the matching touch of color stand.

 

nice stuff red dragon.

some cable management should be real nice for that area.

lol i have the area in the back to manage the cables on the left but i was like where my computers are i'll have to keep connecting/disconnecting. so i left it messy i LOVE my tv with touch of color.

 

Actually the laptop has a few layers of clearcoat which explains the shine. There's been no visible discoloration or scuff marks so its all good.

The first thing I do when I get a new gadget, is peal any stickers off from it
Cause I paid for the design too, and I'm not gonna cover it up.
But that's just me.

 

at least peel the advertisement stickers off your VAIO

 

i peeled that gears of war sticker off my 6860 after a few months and i think it looks a lot better. i would peel the sticker off the tv right away also.

 

Those palm rest stickers and the one on the tv are the same as leaving the mpg/features sheet in the window of a new car. It just looks silly if you dont remove it after you buy it.

 

This is pretty solid. I like this. Though, it looks like you sit on the floor when you're there then? I'm much too used to chairs (preferably rolly ones) so I don't think I could rock that. Still, clean setup, melikes.

Wow, I've never seen anyone go nuts over someone leaving the stickers on their own property. I personally don't mind stickers being on my stuff just as long as they have been put there by the manufacturer. If it isn't blocking the picture or anything like that, then it shouldn't be a big deal.

 

My N10J was still in the mail when I took this pic, Only changes now are the desktop is gone and my N10J is running the dual 24" Sammy's vis hdmi and vga, i'm suprised that for some light multitasking the atom is doing quite well.

 

You room looks nice, clean and streamlined..You have some nice gadgets there! LOL. I like your little netbook! And, the screens! Do you find your deskspace a little *tight* at times??

Tony, interesting assesment on the design i never looked at it like that before but i love the way it is now lol maybe its just me but there is a newness when you dont take the sticker off that never goes away it's like that new car smell that lasts forever

Ennea actually have a chair but i didnt put it in the picture lol i usually connct my vaio via HDMI as both my notebooks have HDMI ports, so i can sit far away right now im looking for the best wireless mouse/keyboard combo i can find and something that could last me years.

Thanks guys when the house was being built the wall was going to origionally be a greyish color but I opted for red because I thought it could look really cool. By the way I'll post a picture of my "new" setup as my M9750 is gone and I have a EeePC as well as a 6x11 tablet sitting there.

 

Newest picture. Not much has changed. There's an ASUS G2S-A1 (first gen) Saitek Eclipse (first gen) Some root beer, erasers, pencils. A Common App. An HP C3180 printer, next to the speakers a flask coated with silver that I won in chemistry class for being the best singer in class during Christmas. xD

EDIT: No desk cleanup for this. Just took it like it is.

Haha thanks. I got that poster from a guy down in Myrtle Beach. Turned out he graduated some 20 years ago from my high school. Only complaint with this setup is that there is very little desk space for homework. I'm one of those people who has to lay everything out in front, otherwise I don't feel like doing it. xD

EDIT: To aznofazns Yeah. I stole those speakers from my family's dead eMachine. They get the job done, because I use my headphones to listen to music. I also don't want to deal with anymore wiring. You know, I look at everyone else's computers and I realize how inopportune the time period in which I had to buy my laptop was. It was summer, '07, and I was about to go spend it in Thailand with my maternal half of the family. I was sick of stealing my aunt's computer and I was planning on upgrading as well; at the same time my brother was egging for a desktop of his own...lots of pressure.

All because of my early adopting of DirectX 10 and Santa Rosa. I had no choice. xD The prices were so far down when I got back from Thailand. OH THE GRIEF! Haha. If I didn't have my laptop already I would spend the money on a Gateway FX, no questions asked.

Okay. Sob-story over. I don't love my ASUS any less though.
