I couldn't do that...nope..have to be able to *breathe* and not feel *closed in* by *cough* clutter
Nice work space!
Cin
-
Do you have an entire server cabinet for just one server?
I wish I had a server cabinet, even a half one
-
Reading through the topic, I admire how optimistic Cin is. She always has nice comment to other people.
-
Yea just one server, some fans and backup crap. Gotta shove the switch in there someday, just too lazy...
Apparently its fireproof... -
Very cool. Do you work for IBM or something?
-
HMDI cable. ...
-
@qaz333: when is your acer 8930 review come up
-
Its been in the news and reviews section for two weeks
-
hmm that is very weird indeed - maybe it has something to do with you tv being in 4:3 mode or something like that :s
-
Nope. Been playing PS3 COD4 for a while now on 16:9....
-
Are you like a networking/admin guy?
-
Sorry, I found it.
I dont check the Acer forum
-
This was my "clutter" when I first got my Computer room going. Click on the links below:

No, Im the janitor with mad skillz
I proposed a server upgrade.. Intel Xeon Quad Core E5440 *drool* -
I just spent 6 hours cleaning my PC-area.
Found 29$, a hole in the wall(????), and 2 dvds with "AwesomePossum" written on them.
Fun times. -
lol, that may be a good reason to keep it clean in the first place.
-
well, ill show off my "computer room" its actually just a really (its extremely comfortable) comfortable chair with my laptop and accessories set up around it, so i can watch tv while browsing. imma make a nice side table that a desktop can fit into and a desk mounting monitor mount and make a nice desktop. but for now (it'll be about april before i do that) this is what it looks like (sorry for the crappy camera phone picture)
-
everyone has their own way of being organized, i can just find things a lot easier with a messier room. and i usually put all papers i need in my backpack, or right on top of a spot i rarely use. my dad is kinda the same, he doesn't like things messy, but he's in a hurry a lot and it just happens. and i bought my own notebook.
-
LOL, awesome. Razer ftw.
-
lmfao! that made my day. +rep for you.
-
Now only if the chair came with a loo....
-
That comfy chair would go well with a skullcap alienware laptop. I thought your gateway was a m15x at first glance.
-
Some real cool rooms!
-
This was my old setup, I posted it awhile ago:
Here is my new Setup:
-
Love both setups!
-
Yes all the pretty colors.
My room glows of blue because of all the lights. -
lol the blue lights are nice but at the same time creepy! I want 2 display monitors =(...lucky
-
That setup is really cool, looks like something from the future.
-
what is that shiny layer below ur keyboard?
-
@ magn3to: the 2nd set up looks real nice and clean.
-
Hey cool...I like the blue *glow*
Cin
-
That cool blue really turns your setup out
. Compared to mine, my setup doesn't come close.
-
lol whats with the super old computer?
-
That's my Blast from the Past corner with my very first computer. A Radio Shack Tandy 64k Color Computer. I was surprised it still worked after all these years, so I kept it as well as the old school floppy disk drive that came with it.
-
Thanks the lights were nice, I took them down cause they were just a waste of energy.
The shiny layer under my keyboard is a custom made light box artograph.
Thanks, the key in having a nice and clean computer desk is to have another desk to throw your mess. I didnt take picture of the messy desk.
Thanks, my room had a nice blue glow but I had to take it down. Actually, if you look back and look at JASON, he had a better lighting layout. I got inspired err I imitated his setup.
One thing to do if you want to have the same glow in your room is to paint your wall white so that light gets reflected not absorbed. Make sure cathode tube is not directly visible while letting some light leak.
Thanks
Thanks, if it look like something from the future it would probably have some kind of 3d holographic monitor. -
Your office space looks like mine did before I was moved out of the server closet.
-
My room + computer.
-
Looks nice! you must print a lot too with a printer like that!
-
Hahahaha definitely a behemoth printer. It's a color laser bought in 2005, so that pretty much explains itself.
-
Hey there!
I like everything about your room!
You have a nice setup! It's clean and very streamed lined..
Nice electronics also!
Cin
-
chyidean which camera do you got? very sharp pictures mate
-
@magn3t0:
How does it comes there's light under your keyboard. Kind of a lightning underlayer?
*Sorry for my bad English* -
Wow, the first pic is very symmetrical. I approve.
-
very cosy and warm..
the lights are very relaxing. -
Yep i know what it is
i set up about one of those a month
They are quite reliable!
-
I have a Canon SD1100 IS, but manually adjusted color later (slightly). You can probably tell with the monitor in the first page slightly warm, and my lights aren't that yellow.
-
I also like that. Obviously like you said you after touched the photo to make it seem more warm, but the setup does have a relaxing feel to it. It fits the whole rest of the look, the lamps, the photo on the wall, all artistic in a way.
I love alot of the other setups in here. Very clean and elegant. Most people's computer rooms/desks I've seen in person are piled with random papers, trash, cans/bottles all around the floor etc.
My place is always kept clean and open, I can't stand someone even placing a pen on my desk, I don't know how some of these people do it.. -
I which my room gave out that feeling of warmth, and was as pristine too...
NICE! -
I'd like to have a large window I can face towards.
Show us your computer room!
