    $65 for the waterblock
~$100 for all the accessories (distilled water, tubing, fittings, fans)
$50 for the radiator. Got it used but in great condition. :)
$0 for the pump. Got it in a trade but the third-party top cost me $25.
    $20 for the reservor
    $25 for the NB waterblock

So in total, it cost me almost $300 to watercool my system.

But you can easily get 'cheaper' but high-quality kits for under $200.

After wading through 190-odd pages of pretty much every kind of setup one could imagine.....all I gotta say is wow. The one I still remember was from January/February....a wide shot of a guy's (ricapar?) basement with some old Apple's along with god knows how many others lined up against the back wall.

    Here's my own hideaway

hehe....would stick my rig down on the floor there & put the printer up on top of the drawers, but I'm kinda paranoid about dust (is easier to clean out where it's at ;) )

 you put your external hard drive on a subwoofer??
Did you know that a strong magnet can erase everything on your hard drive?

Perhaps that subwoofer is dead? And from the looks of it, that looks like a cheap Wal-Mart sub. The magnets in those things aren't strong at all.

It's a low end Altec Lansing setup that's about 5-6 years old + I've had the HD sitting there for months. If nothing's gone kaput now, I seriously doubt it will (though I'll stay more cautious about arranging things)

Not sure exactly since I haven't been using an 'air' system in a while.

With my previous E8400 (C0 stepping) at 4GHz and 1.375V, it never got above 62C with IntelBurnTest.

That was with my 2x120 radiator.

Edit: Oh, and you can get a kit for as low as $129. Not bad in my opinion. :)

At least with the 260's, you're future proof for a while......(try GTA IV yet? lol :p )

With the all the heat coming from your setup....bet Cheerio stays nice N toasty there. Pretty nifty

The setup will pretty much run any game coming out in the new year, so I'm happy with it. It wasn't that bad in the price department either, all things considered.

And yes, Diablo ftw. DIII was a blast, it will be a touch more GPU intensive than it's predecessor's. :D With SCII on the horizon as well, I should be good with blizzard games for a while. Heheh.

Fallout 3 also runs pretty nicely on it, have yet to notice any kind of dip on FPS at all. Crysis is a different story, but I can still pretty much max it out and have it still playable.

Thanks for all the comments guys, it is nice to raid and never have my DPS dip below 120, but yes, it is a touch overkill. :D
