Currently I do not have a desk and use a coffee table... and my notebook's resolution was too low for the powerpoint and word document editing i was doing (2 of each) and I really wanted to work in bed (no central heating in japan... so under the covers)

So I moved everything onto my bed. Monitor on my knees, keyboard near pelvis, notebook on hard surface, mouse is higher in the pic (hard to get it in angle was a pain).

Actually sat there for 14 hours straight working minus 30 minute food break...

 

Wow! So essentially you are using your body as *morphing into a desk* in essence! and your bed is your chair!

Not bad! Very Creative...Make sure you stretch and such..so you don't get any muscle spasms

Hi, Everyone's setup is nice, i'm going to put mine, it might be just me but i beleieve it's somehow messy ¿What do you think?


The laptop on the left is a Gateway M-7813E Hooked to a KDS Rad-5 and the Laptop on the right is a Sony Vaio VGN-N150F, and in the center there's a Epson Stylus CX5600 (Somehow Slow)

 

thought I'd show a small update. New receiver came in friday.





Next I need to upgrade my speakers and I'm still looking for a more suitable desk.

Yep, truly I'm very busy all the time. Working, studying... they keep me busy I'm thinking about buying a mini fridge but my room is too crowded for now. Must rebuild the house first (this year). Thanks for your great advice

Its pretty good. Id give it a 3.5-4 out of 5. It has a dead pixel, the viewing angles aren't as good as my 6 year old sony lcd next to it, and something inside rattles like metal when its bumped So much for a samsung right? But other than that it does look good and has fast response times and amazing colors.

 

nice PC Magazine collection lol. Until it started to suck I got PC Gamer, every one since 1998, same with Maximum BS lol.

I always LOL at that pic. Not many people in the US would want to be called shrimp-chan. The ebi fillet was a disappointment though. I had more fun with the mega-tamago (limited edition!). I am guessing you are studying abroad in Japan. Which school? I spent a summer at Kanazawa Institute of Technology and might be going to Konan University in Kobe for a semester or year.

Your setup is great too, that is how I worked. The desks in the apartment was just too small and working in the kitchen felt rather wierd so I've spent all day working on the futon.

yeah, it's a curved monitor, which is cool but it is huge and in the videos of it you could see lines on the screen between the monitors or whatever it was in there.

 

I have not seen that one in person. I mean mine isnt bad its just not perfect.

I think it has a huge back because it is dlp? right? and it is actually 3 monitors put together just seamless. Also, its really low vertical resolutino.

 

I am actually half Japanese and moved to Japan for university. I'm at ICU (International Christian University) its small but one of the top 10 in Japan and ironically has almost no Christians.

Those Mega-XXX were great they brought back the Mega-mac again. When are you planning your second round in Japan?
