I used to live in the basement until my parents bumped me upstairs into my sisters old bedroom because i snuck out so much through the walk out basement doorSo i'm up in this tiny room til i graduate and head to college.
my computer is literally my room! I have a epson 83c setup with all my media connected to it, including my laptop which sits there 90% of the time and my 360. I also had 2 19'' moiitors left over when i had my desktop setup downstairs so i made good use of those. I can literally sit in my room for days without coming out!

i bought some white fabric materia from walmartl because i couldnt project images on a yellow wall![]()
![]()
I also made use of my 7.1 altec lansings so i set them along the shelves.
![]()
there's the projector(which is use instead of monitors) and the lcd screen when i lay in bed and don't have my contacts on.( i know how lazy can you get, but wait... there's more)
![]()
here's where i sit(very low desk(like i said it was my sister's old bedroom) wireless keyboard and mouse and also another monitor, which is more of a novelty because i really don't use it
![]()
360 under the projector stand
![]()
and of course the master mind, my notebook, subwoofer and messy cables galore
![]()
and more wires, usb hub and my external hd(which i use to store all my movies and anime...mostly anime :] )

^^Lots of stuff you've got there, Looks nice
-
ha, thanks. It's very easy and comfortable to use. I like it alot better than having monitors. It feels really weird when i take my laptop out and using the 14 inch screen.

Whats the resolution of that projector? also does it heat up your room or have a maximum time that you can leave it on?
I kinda wanted one for the longest before I upgraded to a 37" LCD for my monitor it has the same effect since its only 3 feet away but a high resolution and better quality. -
Ha! that's the advantage of having a projector in such a small room. since i live in a deciduous climate region, it's cold this time of year! the projector doubles my heater and guess what? My room is the warmest and most comfortable room in the entire house compared to the radiator which takes up a hell of a chunk in energy bill :]
kill two birds with one stone
And to eyeball it, i'm replying to your post on a 78''-84'' screen(diagonal) i don't care too much for HD because it's only for use in my room. the projector relays HD signals and also 1080i. Resolution is 1024x768 XGA and 2200 lumens is plenty bright for me. -
@ korean_boi
Nice setup. Btw is that a schecter Omen 6 guitar? If so, I have the same guitar, but with upgraded dimarzio evolution pickups. I love my guitar!

ah, nice setups you guys. I really need a laptop cooler too because my notebook sits under my bed most of the time. So i went out of my way to buy a lapcool3.

You need to paint the C ockpit struts and weather the painting in that P61 Black Widow
And you got use more tape when doing stripes.
And are those sails in plastic only? come on, you can buy and learn to use an aerograph, can't you?
You asked for comments, it's your fault

How'd you get Halo 3 to play on your laptop? -
He is probably just inputting his 360 to his monitor. The 360s are in the upper right of the pictures.
-
peh! he has 2 360's! what a rich punk.
-
or the more likely story is one is broken...
-
never thought of that. ring of death got to him?
-
Hi guys, first post. I hope it goes through. Here's my desk, and I! Don't mind the booze. It's only there for show. I thought it was a funny setup, so I took a picture of it.
Here's the pic of the background I use on the main pc. It's a pic of one of the cherry blossoms I have in the backyard.
edit: quad core 6700; 4 HD: one 500 gig, two 320 gigs, one 250; Nvidia 8600GTS; 2 gigs pc 6400 ram; 42 inch Toshiba Regza main screen, and a small 19 inch Samsung screen. Laptop's a T-1616. -
Actually I have 6 XBOX 360's. Two of them are brand new, one has HDMI and the other dosen't. The others are used, which had the 3RROD. I'm not rich, I just buy them broken and fix them. Recently I bought an XBOX 360, 20gig hdd, wireless controller, wireless headset, two official wired headsets and a the mini keyboard for the controller for $50. The guy just wanted to get rid of his 360 as he was sick of death of the 3RROD. So yea...I fix it in 10mins and has been working for two months.
-
If you look at the following pictures you will see my Sega Dreamcast and XBOX 360 connected. I have a PCMCIA card, which allows me to input through the standard AV cables and S-Video. So I bought an S-Video cable for my 360 and connected it and the standard white/red audio cables.
The PCMCIA card is a TV capture card.

Holy **** at black dreamcast, THAT is one sexy machine.
-

@sydboi84 GOOD FOR YOU! Thats what i would do or wouldve done, id buy broken and try to fix it up, usually its repairable with effort. ive fixed a couple of ipod videos and gave 1 to my gf as a xmas gift, she was thrilled. (good condition ipod just needed a battery replacement)
broken ipod video 30gb 50$
battery replacement 10$
A Very happy girlfriend who almost kissed me to death.... Priceless.
ima post my setup soo, maybe after Xmas
-
Yea, the dreaded ring of death.
It's interesting, both MS and Sony have gone down in die size to 65nm to battle heat not to long after they released the intial hardware. Great if you waited to buy a 360 or PS3, not great for the people who bought initially. -
Eh, but for those who did, we still have that three year warranty, which I just used
. Yay for avoiding lawsuits!
-
Good point.

Nice glass desk. I was looking for something similar but it was around $150-200.
Arg, I hated Troy. Fell asleep during the movie.. :/ -

Nice clean setup you have there as well as a clean room. -
I actually sprayed it using vinyl spray. Everyone that sees it thinks it was originally black. It was quiet good seeing as it was the first thing I have sprayed.
-
how do you afford all that stuff?...
-
my god...you guys are either spoiled rotten or you work 24/7
-
heres my small little room

Summer Job, I was a bartender so I made lots of tips. I'm going to go get you some updated photos now... give me a minute...
Edit: well pics will have to wait, I've been recruited to drive my grandma around while she goes shopping. We'll try later. -
Here is my latest setup- Sorry I didn't get a good one of the PC before my camera konked out (click the link in my sig if you really want to see it). It is on the other side of the room where my desk is and I ran a DVI-> HDMI cable to the TV. I control it using a 360 controller and xpadder or my wireless KB/M.
I just upgraded my speakers to 6 of those Insignia's from Best Buy, I really like 'em and I got them on sale. I love my Toshiba 32HL67, I went through 5 different TV's before I settled on this one and it hasn't let me down (I'll try and get some good screenshots but my camera has been grumpy lately).
