Think I posted this one before:
This was my setup in my dorm room last school year.
Setup earlier this school year. I just got a Gateway 17in notebook to take home with me and for my study abroad where I cant take my desktops and my tablet is way too weak for any gaming. The Dell monitor is mostly used as a TV or watching anime from the bed. It is mounted a bit differently now (got an Ergotron arm cheap on ebay). The silver matx comp (which was my Linux box before) was swapped with the AM2 build I have now. Before watching HD stuff was jerky now its good. Ill post an update when I get back to school. -
Works very well.

Hey, I'm a noobie in this forum...
but I thought I'd show you guys my setup =]
I've got an HP dv6000 connected to a 160GB Western Digital passport, a custom-built PC my uncle made me and it's all right for a desktop 2.4GHZ Pentium 4 Processor, 120GB HD, Asus Motherboard, Logitech S510... I've got it connected to a Samsung SyncMaster 940MW and a 160GB Ext. hard drive. Also connected to the monitor is my Xbox (soon to be 360 or Wii). I've ggot a Sharp 1-Bit Home Theatre system setup for my Desktop and it delivers pretty well. I have a couple of USB hubs/card readers and stuff connected to my desktop as well... (You can kind of see my Samsung Printer to the right and the subwoofer in the bottom left...) And that's pretty much it... I've also got an 80GB iPod 5.5G underneath my table =] I love it.
Umm... yeah
That's it.Attached Files:

-
Here's part of the current setup where I work. This is on one wall, the bigger displays are 32-37inch HDTVs

Ops room at a hospital data center
I'm the data protection/disaster recovery admin for the system's hospitals and clinics. We can monitor or control pretty much anything from this room, hehe.

My setup is highly temporary but I feel like I must post it anyway, I'll see what I can do when I get home ^^

@zeppelin420x
Yeah, I got them for only $99 at BestBuy recently and I love them -
Currently we have about 10 computers in various rooms. Here are some of them. Obviously I have a problem hording computers according to my wife
The computers are all connected via Netgear Powerline modules. I also have a separate wireless network for the kids gaming systems and the Dell Inspiron 1520 I just purchased over Xmas.
Living room, the main workspace for the wife and I.
Dining room, this is the computer the kids use as well as one of our servers.
Mine and the wife's bedroom, this is one of my Linux boxes.

Hey.
I'm running on a new 2.2GHz White MacBook (Leopard), some Dell speakers (they are almost 3 years old, but i think they play superb), an 250 GB Lacie Porsche external Harddrive, Logitech MX Rvolution, LG L1940PQ (Really nice 19" LG monitor. It's superb), Apple Bluetooth Keyboard (previous model). Also there is an iPod U2 Edition and the previous model iPod Dock and Jess Walter's book The Zero. (The version I have though is in danish)
I also have a HP PSC 2110 All-In-One printer, which is hid away. It's big and bulky and ugly.
Furthermore. Usually my Nikon D80 also lies on the table, but it was obviously used for taking these pictures.
Oh yeah, the cell phones are the Sony Ericsson Z310i and K610i.. They kind of disturb the whole picture, but whatever. -
Sander, that's a gorgeous setup you have there.

Wow KGann....very nice collection!!
-
KGann: Doesn't it get depressing living with such a lack of colour?
-
The Inspiron 1520 I just purchased over Xmas is the first "new" computer I have purchased in over 10 years. I have had nothing but great luck with the Dell Optiplex line. -
Thanks guys. All that equipment... and my camera sucks. I have to shoot in black and white because of the terrible color the camera gives...
-
here's mine! I also have a couple of pics of the new dream machine.

After waiting patiently for almost 3 weeks, I found out today from NCIX that the BenQ FP241W was discontinued. I guess I'll have to refund my money and look elsewhere.
Hell, I even rearranged my desks to accomodate the new monitor.
Freakin' A!!!

Man, I betchu everyone cleans up their desks for me. Well I'm not going to!
This is actually what my desk usually looks like when I'm working;
Note the mess of cords to the left of my macbook, and the orange I just opened and was going to start eating. And yes, my macbook is on a cookie tray if anyone is wondering. I find that they keep laptops a lot cooler than any laptop cooler.Attached Files:

Here's my modest set up (the laptop doesnt normally sit there - I had it out to download an update and would rather do it plugged in than over wireless)

Very nice setup diggy. And to whomever has the iMac with the mouse on the trashcan. HAWTDAWG that's sweet.

In general these speakers are heavily skewed towards the bass and can sound somewhat 'muddy'.
