    1) Watch the language scook9 this is a public forum for people of all ages.

    2) Dont discuss your signatures, this isn't the right topic or forum section to do that. ONLY DISCUSS YOUR COMPUTER ROOM here, no small talk about the weather or your signature as it doesn't really pertain to it.

    All right,

Here is my little set up, and it's changed a lot since I took this during the Summer along with doing school work so it's sorta of a small mess.

Hahaha. Yeah, I guess so, huh? I put it up there to keep it outta of the kids reach, but it's rearranged. Maybe in a few days I will put up a new shot of what I have done with the place, but really it hasn't changed much.

Kinda messy as I JUST got done with a deployment, but here is my cubicle at work. The 15in LCD to the left of my SXPS is for the shuttle SFF linux server, the 2 17in LCDs are for the 2 dell boxes. All 3 are servers so I rarely rely on their screens and even if I do they are more then enough for a server. So dont judge :p .

Sounds every bit as good as mine! I just got a 700D this weekend ($140 after rebate! including the 800d window panel) and just bought a R2E as well last night ($210 shipped brand new - I really am ecstatic lol). I just need to find a triple radiator I like for the top then my build is migrating to the new case/motherboard. Man....that case just swallows up a rather large motherboard without even shrugging haha

The cable management already has me excited, and my Mini P180 was not exactly bad in that regard anyway haha

This is how my system has grown (and yes I have been a big mATX fan haha):

Original: Core 2 Quad Q9550 and 4850 CF (All on a DFI LP JR P45t2rs)
    http://i25.tinypic.com/1584ew3.jpg

Good: Core i7 920 and 4850 CF (Orignally on the DFI LP JR X58t3h6 but eventually an Asus Rampage II GENE)
    http://i27.tinypic.com/i5b03n.jpg

Better: Core i7 920 and GTX 275 SLI (On the Asus Rampage II GENE)
    http://i30.tinypic.com/34oeelg.jpg

    Best: Core i7 920 then 930 then 965 and 5870 CF

My trick is sell the old so you can buy the new. Wish I could afford to have all that at once haha

Also always have an eye for the awesome deals:
    $365 for my i7 Extreme 965
    $200 for the i7 920
    $200 for the i7 930
    $140 for my Corsair 700D
$210 for my Rampage II Extreme

No way I could afford any of those at or near their msrp haha. Living near a MicroCenter helps alot! Only not brand new part was the 965

See the thing is I require a minimum of 3 computers for my setup. I can only afford 1 at a time so Im reusing them and by the time I can sell them they are either dead or worth literally nothing. Im hoping this APU deal pans out well and that should curb my tech appetite for a bit.

Hopefully tonight I can post a pic of my home office if work doesnt kill me first.

$365 for your 965, at that price I would almost go Intel, well, almost. :p
If I lived too close to a MC, I would probably end up single and broke,LOL.

I was worse than living close, I worked at one haha. And I almost did end up single and broke during that period!

The 965 was a "refurb" meaning working system pull since they pretty much cant refurb a cpu from Alienware eBay. I have seen a QX9650 there for like $200 before as well.

Actualy its a vostro 1700 / 1720. To be honest I still have a soft spot for that laptop. The only reason I upgraded was because I needed a quad core CPU.

It was one of the best series of notebooks in 2007, right in the sweet spot, if you only needed something for casual gaming...and they are quite sturdy, if the GPU does not fry itself.

I'll get pics of the pink laptop. Though, most of the pink is covered by a sticker!

I can't bear to get rid of the stupid thing. I don't play games much anymore (to the point that I won't touch it for a month). Since it supports Intel VT I'll probably make another server for proof of concept stuff for future projects and whatnot.

In Montgomery AL, in one of my dads spare office's. But my dads selling the office buildings, so I'll be out in 2 weeks. He said he's thinking of opening a computer buy-sell-trade-repair business, and I could work there. I'd also be training my dad, since the last time he worked on computers was in the 90's for the Air Force.
