Graduated last may and I still have my temporary desk. Been wanting to get a "real" one for awhile. Currently looking for a cheap 17" with decent resolution to replace my Lenovo that is running linux.

Well the mainboard will have water, just not a full board block as those are expensive and offer minimal benefits.

I couldnt agree more. I could use my vostro as a weapon its built so well. The laptop was perfect until the nvidia card destroyed itself. Pretty much why I will avoid nvidia if I can help it. Even with it fried it still works out as a great server, just wish they would have offered it with a quad core chipset later in 2008 as it would still be my main rig.

    Audio Technica AD700?

I wish I had a "Man Cave" but since my stuff is in the bedroom and I do not have a dedicated room for it and I share the bedroom with the wife its more like the "Man Corner" :D

I got some new gadgets and organized it a bit, I still need to get a triple monitor stand to free up some space and try to do some cable management.

Anyways I plan to take some pictures later today of my revised setup.

Nice with lots of toys. The only thing I would retire is the mousepad. I think it has received enough punishment. ;)

You wallpaper matches the desk precisely.

I know the wrist pad is old, EB games has not even been in business for years but I have not found a good replacement yet.

The mousepad is brand new though I bought that not too long ago to replace my even more dirty white mouse pad.

The wallpaper is one of many that I have it cycles through every hour to a new one at random. For taking pictures I purposely put it on a darker one as a bright one really blows the monitors out and messes up the exposure of the picture.

I wanted to use THIS one.

    Since its Christmas and all.

Most of my wallpapers are HERE

I still have more pictures to take :D like with the G27 wheel hooked up, but I will probably hold off on that till I get a monitor stand and do some cable management.

because of not enough space on the table, maybe i will extend the table in the future to the right side and then it is enough space for another monitor :)

I'm surprised computer monitor manufactures haven't created a monitor without the black space; making the monitors multi-monitor friendly.

That thing sucks, :/ its been around for a while.

CRT based, low resolution, too expensive.

People have built zero bezel triple monitor lcd setups way cheaper.

Okay, here is my new "average" setup... It's not much, but it works for me, and I guess that's the main thing! Updated in here is the other monitor for the server, plus the wired router for the server... and it's much cleaner then my last picture! (BTW, this is a really bad picture, as it's night time, and only have my N95 for a camera! So bare with it, it takes better pictures during the day, I swear!) I also badly need a new chair, mine is getting on in life... Oh well, Christmas is coming up soon!

You can see the seams between the different panels in that screen (3 1440x900 if I recall correctly). It is not as bad as a bezel but far from ideal. That is more of a marketing gimmick and not worth buying imho
