Thanks.
I really love this eggchair, it's very very comfortable and has a great design. I love such designs from 1960/1970.
The keyboards are two. Each keyboard is a one handed keyboard, called FrogPad. One keyboard is for the left, the other for the right hand. And when I type, then only with a single hand, this way I can hold the mouse in the right hand and type with the left or hold a paper in the left hand and type with the right. It's just more comfortable and easier to use than a large qwerty keyboard in most situations. -
I Have that keyboard! It came with a wireless rechargeable mouse. At the time it cost me $200.00 still works!

uh, music
that is one tiny keyboard you have it looks sweet
-
lolol i ALSO have the same kb+mouse combo and i really love the kb although i switched out the mouse (pretty horrible lagwise) for a razer mamba. so i have like two docks but the thing i find useful on that kb is the F Mode and the buttons to the left of the left shift. Easier pressing the X button than ALT+F4.
-
Damn, I actually forgot i payed that much for it good point!
I had it for the last 5 years, the mouse has hit walls many times, been thrown around like hell, been used over extensively, but is still working like new, I luv it >< -
I never realised there was that X button, in 5 years....lol. I like the little wheel on the side, when my mouse is more than 1 metre away and im too lazy to move my arm to use it to scroll webpages. and that calculator button too.
-
Yep, same here its an amazing mouse! the paint is starting to wear off from use, but if i was to swap it out it would likely be another logitech.
-
HAHAHA EXACTLY!!! I'm way too lazy that if its 40cm away i start using my kb's leftside scrollwheel
I set the lil' hotkeys on the F MODE to different file locations like C:/My Documents/Homework or something.
-
Keep it on topic... show off your desktop not discuss your accesories
-
I thought the topic was "your computer room" which, to my tiny little mind, would encompass everything within that room that relates to your computer, not just the desktop, but I could be wrong.

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?

Whoa! Assuming the necessary "facilities" are behind the photographer, it looks like you've got no reason to leave your setup for weeks, maybe months, at a time! Food, toys for some downtime relaxation, carpetted floor in case a nap is warranted, ....
-
I spy with my little eye.......a Japanese schoolgirl!
Hi, my name is Jon.......and I'm a Lolicon. -
@ Commander Wolf
That is a lot of LEGOS! I think you are one of the few people I have seen with more. -
Here's a couple shots of my desk. Sorry for cell phone quality, and lack of the rest of the room, but the rest of the room is just my bed and closets and stuff. Not much to see.
This first shot shows the left speaker from my Logitech Z-2300 system, my Logitech G15 rev 2 keyboard, and ViewSonic VA2026w 20" 1680x1050 display. Just to the right of the speaker are some assorted desktop and notebook DDR2 memory modules, a Socket P T5750, and a wireless card or two. Underneath the right side of the display are some of the interchangeable grips from my Logitech G9 mouse.
Here you can see the other Z-2300 speaker, as well as the 120W subwoofer. In the middle is my Logitech G9 mouse, atop my Thermaltake Gamma Pad mouse surface, and a "natural sunlight" fluorescent lamp...really nice white light.
And of course, my penguin.
-
Finally!
Looks very nice! Those are some nice speakers you have!
Awww what a cute wittle penguin! hee

Legomaniaaaaaaaa! I like how you set them up.
I have the same monitor, but bigger (22" 1680x1050)
.

Looks ain't all they got, that's for sure. Seeing them is one thing, but hearing them is a whole different experience.
Haha, thanks. It was a gift from my girlfriend when she was in New York last month...she said it reminded her of me since I use Linux.
Nice. It's been a good display so far. No ghosting or dead/stuck pixels. I've been looking around for an upgrade, though; preferably a 24" or larger with 1920x1200 resolution. 26 to 28 inch would be ideal if I can find a good price.
Actually, I guess ideal would be a 30" 2560x1600, but that ain't happening soon.

Sadly, the facilities are down the hall. My bed is on the left of the larger desk, though; you can barely make out a corner behind the TC4200.
Ha. Those are just the bigger boxes. You should see my closet...

someone likes dogs?
-
Did you make the wallpapers
?
-
CalebSchmerge Woof NBR Reviewer
The ones on my desktop are photos of my dog (she is in the media center picture, too). I have stitched together different pictures so that the screens each show a different shot on the wallpaper, its boring otherwise. -
Nice Rachel
-
Thanks REB!
Mine looks a bit bare lol but you just have to picture in my other laptop there and my camera and phone lol. -
See I think subtracting the food and drinks from my setup is what gets me out of the office to spend time with the wifey. It would be hard to leave work/fun after a long day in my comfy setup if all I had to do was reach for sustenance.
Beautiful dog! I had a German shep/huskie when I was a kid that I used to go out for hours or even days in the woods behind my house. Great breed, very helpful and willing when hunting or just wondering.
Nothing wrong with that
.
Nice clean setup, I wish I could survive with a setup like that. Now my desk cant even fit books on it its so full of PCs, monitors and peripherals. -
What sony monitor is that?
-
Very, nice...Caleb!
Rachel, your room is very *sweet*
Everything about it is very pretty & cool!

liquidxit2 and Cin
Thanks for the nice comments.
I uploaded a thumbnail of my setup with my travel laptop. As it travel laptop that suggests that i don't use it much on my desk which is true. Most of the time i use it when i go out and in bed/bedside table. I also bought a dock for my TX, i don't know why really as i don't use it on my desk very often but it is handy to have.
My screen is still smashed. I will sort it out from my end though. -
Well I got my new desk in this week and have it setup finally.

Do my eyes deceive me, or do I see a notebook sitting on carpeting? I hope you weren't counting on that VAIO for anything mission-critical.
I'm being a little over the top (as usual
); still, it's a good idea not to set the poor things on carpeting, where the vents on the bottom can get completely blocked.
-
wow. nice setups everyone!
-
Great Setups here
@ BleedingEars--like how you mounted your power strip under your window there.....might try something like that once I get my room cleared out/new desk moved in. -
Nice. I have the same laptop and my setup looks rather similar. It doesn't change though cause for someone reason, the 1520 freezes when unplugged! D:
-
Nice silver vostro! errr I mean inspiron.

I actually only had it there for like a couple of days, My newer setup(after this) was just imagine a table next to that TV stand. Well i had a long table next to that and had my Vaio AR and Vaio FW on it....thats pretty much all I did after this picture
