    Phew! Notwithstanding how annoyed I finally got with my own 6 y.o. VAIO (recently, and happily, deceased, for the time being), I would hate to see those nice shiny new VAIOs get killed by carpet clogging! :D

    Thats one thing i always like about vaios though, they dont get very hot and the BARELY make any noise for both of these vaios you dont even know if the fan is on :)

    That is the truth! My old VAIO was definitely quiet - I almost never heard the fan running except occasionally when I was trying to kill the integrated graphics chip by doing massive amounts of photo-editing in GIMP on it. Even then, it sounded more like a mouse breathing; by contrast, my wife's 3 y.o. .HP revs up and sounds like a dragon breathing fire when its graphics start to get taxed.

    Update, yet not complete. I hope to buy a decent wireless mouse and keyboard and a USB WiFi dongle so I only have one wire going upto it ((laptop fixed to wall) currently I have no battery for it :( when I do it will look awsome :cool:)

    Lothrop Hall. I wanted to be in one of the Towers, but after attending Pittstart and seeing how noisy they are (construction workers outside were really noisy, are the walls made of paper?), and realizing no room-mate (despite wanting one) will be okay, I am good. :D
