That is awesome. Wish i had a setup like that but i don't even have a desktop. Only two laptops and a netbook to keep me company cuz i go home only for the weekends.

Well, this is a fun thread! Some pretty wicked setups here, it's nice to have a permanent home
. Here's my setup:
Two Elitebook 8530s, one maxed out main machine and one for writing and backup (both software and hardware). Also, a Nokia BH 503 Bluetooth headset for audio/music and a cheap Panasonic dynamic mic + desktop tripod for recording (still much better than the integrated mic array).

Actually they look like my Swans D1080MKII. But they are a bit bigger than mine. Maybe I found my next speakers.
-
an excellent choice
-
I'd post a new picture of mine but it hasn't changed in over a year. Time to get a better job so I can afford new gear.
-
^ Like those speakers, a lot.

yeah, sure it is...

lol, thats been posted before, crazy nice setup. Quite the gun nut... Wonder how those TV's go when trying to read text?
-
Best part in that setup is that Lightsaber
-
I think the hand wield minigun is better.
-
Never got the hang about the differences in blue, brown, and all those other switches you can chose from though.
-
Thanks.
Different kind of typing (pushing force and how deep you have to push the button) as well as how loud the sound is.
Blue is generally the best for writing but also makes a very loud "click/clack" when writing.
Black is nice for gaming.
Brown is somewhere in the middle of both + not so loud.
Red should be even better than Brown but I think it still costs a lot.
There are a few more (like white) but no ideas about those -

Hi!
At the antree, i`m sorry for my english, i`m from poland, i`m 19yo and i`m beginner in english
When I look at your desks, i`m shocking. Most of you have ultra strong computer and minimum two LCDs on desk o.o Probably standard of living on west is greater than it seems to me. In poland can buy a compact car for your electronics on your desks! A lot of you have alienware o.o mx18 in poland cost 15k zl, for this cash can buy this car----> BMW 328 KOMBI (1962853515) - Aukcje internetowe Allegro . God damn it.
I show you, how is looking typical informatic-electronic desk in poland.
Normally on desk is ONE monitor, but i must had second, becouse i needed it for rescue my graphic card. -
That just looks a little messy. That's all. Haha

15" business Dell.
I was going to get a 28" 1200p monitor today for very cheap, but couldn't convince myself to pay $200 when I already have a working monitor attached to my laptop -
I feel that the $12 + shipping that Monoprice charges for a 6ft DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable is (relative to my other expenses) too much, so my 24" 1080p TV is just sitting on my fridge, being unused for now.

Here is my temp setup near the bed -
Laptop looks great, plus the screen saver for the iPad is quite fitting! -
Currently this is my only laptop and only computer (I don't own a desktop), it's the second one that I have (the 1st one is a junk quality HP Pavilion dv6t that broke down after only 6 months).
Dell Vostro 1014, bought in February 2010 (nearly 2 years old).
Specs:
Core 2 Duo T6670 2.2GHz
WD 320GB 5400rmp
Mobile Intel 4 series express chipset family (IGPU)
4GB DDR2 800MHz
I'm quite pleased with it, but after having it about 5 months I found out it's only a budget level-laptop (a person chosed it for me,I didn't choose it by myself).
Now running windows 7 Home Premium on it, everday tasks are OK, but gaming and 1080p videos streaming seems cannot satisfy me... -
-
-
because it looked pretty much the same.. -
-
Besides the guns, I wanna have the same thing!! -
and that one looks Slim, while my 5920G is kinda thick!

My current desk. Still trying to find a rackmount/HTPC case to fit in the space above the cabinets.
Added some bias lighting:

It actually helps with eye strain/fatigue and improves the way your eyes perceive contrast/colours.
Bias Lighting - What it does and why you need it
Antec sells the 6 LED bias lighting kit for like $15 -
