I almost bought one a month or so ago w/red but I have another even smaller keyboard on the way so I decided not to buy. -
Thanks, ye I remember that there have been even smaller ones.. KBP Poker so smth like that? They also have been cheaper but there wasn't any EU (german) layout available :/
-
this was one of my old places years ago....
this is current...

^ Dude, your first picture shocked me, it looks like a hardcore geek room.
-
Messy room, eh?
-
^^^ much better now huh ?!!
-
perhaps I should post my hole to help any of you who think you have messy setups feel at ease that there is far worse
-
WD My passport spotted!!!
-
cardriver, your first pic reminds me of a typical 90s nerd. Definite improvement with the 2nd pic
-
What a Mac will do to ya.
-
^There's a mac in the first pic.
-
wait, what? i dont see one
-
I was kidding.
Wanted to see someone look for it. -
I think cardriver's first pic is better. The second one is all Mac-ified. That's what I hate about some Mac users. They think that just because they have a Mac means they have to have an uber minimalistic setup.

top white tower to the right looks like the old macs with the g-series chips -
I'll admit, I started to look for a split second and then I was like

Interesting!
Who else have photos of old setups? This was my setup at home back in July 2005:
Thinkpad 240, Gateway E-3200, Dell Inspiron 700m, and Dell Inspiron 8200. -
This is what my personal setup looked like before May 2011 (Toshiba Satellite L505):

My family's old desktop (emachines T6412)...
...use to be set up on this desk (currently occupied by a HP Pavilion Elite m9402f):

Downsized to a smaller desk and one less printer. Still in the middle of cleaning everything up and reworking my wiring. Like the new desk though
-
HAHA. yeah that was around late 90s. my current setup is way easier to work with.
-
HAHA. mac-ified kinda. Actually around I just got into apple about a year ago but but PC era got really clean after i took the first pic. I am still very PC and my desks (yep that's plural) at work are cleaner because I have docking stations and monitors on arms. I didnt realize how much of a mess my place was until my buddy sent me that pic of my mess. Now I just can take it when things are out of place. I have become kind of a freak. I took the engine out of one of my cars because it was dirty as heck.
Heres a pic just for kicks...
-
Here's my set up. Built the desk a bit back. Still need to paint it, will match my speakers very closely with a black lacquer finish on the top surface. The screen is attached to the desk not the wall, so I can move the entire set up where ever I want. Its 8 feet by 3 feet.
-
Syndrome, nice setup, what speakers and monitor are you running?
-
The speakers are Wharfedale Evo2-10's powered by a Cambridge Audio Azur 540A V2. I've currently got a Tru-Audio 8" ported subwoofer hooked up until my Sunfire Jr is repaired(oops, to much party). The Evo2-10's are some of the best imaging speakers I've listened to, and the frequency response is exceptional, beating out even my brothers B&W 805s.
The monitor is a 40" Toshiba LED, the newest addition to my current set up. The picture on it is pretty good and I got it for a cheap price. -
Astro A40's on the right?
-
yeah and a30's are in the drawer below
a40's for vent
a30's for alienware
sennheisers for sp -
roliath, your setup is almost as good as mine! Mine is one 3008WFP in landscape and three 2407/2408WFP in portrait!
-
Who's is better is subjective. I believe my setup is superior, because its mine.
Whats powering that setup btw? -
Nice set-up roliat, I really love this eyefinity configuration!
-
^wow!! awesome Sonic station!!
-
So, I hear you like Sonic?
-
I am fully aware of the capabilities of the Wharfedale. Although B&W are superb at imaging/sound stage.
In any event, is that a drink I see hovering precariously next to your keyboard? I take it you've never experienced a "Pepsi" spill?
Show us your computer room 2!
