Haha, well so do I! I just don't feel as "busy" if it's clean.
-
well
I like my desk clean and when i have work(at this point the only work I have been doing is summer homework for AP biology for senior year) I have a shelf for all my papers on one of my bookcases
haha everything that I like or have an interest in has to be perfectly organized with nothing wrong with it or I can't stop thinking about it. For example I bought this iphone case for my iphone 3g, very good case and all, except mine has a 'slight' little click noice and it shakes if you press it on the top left corner, haha the only way you wwould really notice this is if you were looking for it, well I found it and it's driving me insane. It doesn't really scratch or do anything it just makes a click noice and moves ever so slightly. But I refuse to buy a new case because I need to overcome this problem hahaha,
jesus im insane.... -
I finally got my new setup! I Still need a few things (speakers, trash can) but the main stuff is there.

Looks like that futon has taken a beating. It can't be as bad as my old one though. The bottom portion of the frame on mine was straight broken. Nice setup though.
-
nice change beeman. i, for one, prefer L-shaped setups if it's gonna be up against the wall.
-
Yea, the frame on the back is cracked, it hasn't snapped yet...
-
damn I want a new desk so bad haha, Mine is small and I can barely fit my printer under it
-
not mine, but i think it's awesome!
-
Ok, you guys convinced me to clean up a little bit.
Aren't the pink Post-It notes a nice touch?
LOL
-
I wonder how?!
Okay I'm done (and yes, I know I'm completely immature).
-
dang what do you do for a living? i want a setup like that when i can afford it
-
"not mine, but i think it's awesome!"
lol. -
yea ive personally always liked the look of more then one monitor its just sexy i think
-
Well, I like how he makes it look like it folds open by turning the side monitors sideways.
-
This is mine:
You can see I have a Acer Aspire 5920G. I'm using a NZXT Cryo LX notebook cooler, VX Nano mouse (logitech) and some other stuff.
What you might notice is that on the left side I have my second hard drive (320GB Western Digital, The one I'm using now is a 200GB toshiba which I bought off ebay for 25€
). Also right under is is my backplate! I took it off to see if it would help drop the temperatures, and it did!
That's my notebook and how it's installed. Now I'd like to see yours!
Grtz~ -
yea that to haha i would like to see it on tho... cause my favorite thing is how the wall paper extends to all of them
-
nice to see you found this thread undertax, you should go back and read it from the start... even try reading the origional... i think it took me a over a month to catch up...
btw nice laptop i have the same one...
dosnt it feel weird beeing lop sided with the base plate off(as that is where the left side rubber feet are)?
-
I have no idea if this has been posted, but I just saw this today.
Not my room.
Gaming Pod -
god i would hate that, it would be so stuffy and cramped in there, not to mention that computer must have serious heat problems. not to mention that thing looks incredibly ugly. i wouldnt have it in my house.
-
That is exactly what I was thinking. LOL
-
actually i use a small rubber thingy under the left corners to keep it from slipping
-
so intarresting -
Seems like somebody could very easily forget about real life in that pod. Sounds dangerous.
EDIT: REB!, what Asus did you have before to be rocking one of those sweet MX518's? Hmmmm? -
Nice, clean setup!

Nice room guys.
Clutch: nice plane diagram, love it
Undertaxxx: i notice you take out the notebook bottom casing? i saw an oem sticker on the left side.
anyway, my "room" is flexible. i would love to work at living room sometime while watching tv
chillz. -
nice setup
. And yeah i took it out to get rid the intense heat while overclocking. It really helped, but you'll have to use a notebook cooler, like me: NZXT cryo Black (best on ethere is imo.).
And watching tv? I do that on my notebook lol.
-
thanks and yeh, tv and sometime movie. possible to do on my notebook, but i prefer wide viewing and am doing multitasking (typing stuff on words or excel)

Attached is when i got my desktop a few weeks ago
Bought a new mouse pad today for my keyboard to sit in. An oversized Razer Goliathus Speed
(not in photo)
Attached Files:

wow i really dont understand why a freakin keyboard would need a mousepad? like srsly, my friend also had one, the QCK+ Oversized for his G19 just cuz he had money to spend (i dont really care, i mean he is the one with dual GTX295s which he used to replace his GTX280 sli, talk about wasting money...)
now i ask, why why why? -
Its awkward typing when the keyboard is uneven, plus now i have both speed + control mouse pads. Its cheaper than buying a bigger desk.
Heres an updated photo, all level nowAttached Files:

-
oh i see you wanted it evenly around...now i see. still i dont see how my friend needed it, his desk was big

btw, how about making stereoscopic 3d pics of your rooms / systems? so we see how it's really laid out?
here is my server interior (i'm having holidays and cleaning up all my stuff currently, so pics of my full setup end of next week hopefully
)
go to stereo 3d
and btw, it was really just a quick test with my cellphone if i can get two pics and get them to look 3d
so it's not sharp, or professional, or anything
-
this topic is dead?
-
not if you post your room
-
I did twice before lol.
what about yours?
-
Here's my desk that I just got done designing and building.
I have a few extension pieces that I haven't quite finished however. -

-
nice desk!
-
please don't quote large images. And resize them please.
-
Great work
-
Hi all. Very interesting setups! Here's mine.. sorry for the quality.. Taken with iphone.
-
Pure awesome. I'd love to be able to build my own desk. I was never able to find quite what I envisioned.
While I'm here, I got new speaker stands [pic] since my last post. -
I like that dog in the picture a few posts above
-
may i ask why you got rid of your Z-5500 for those A5s? Are the A5s really good or just that you didnt like the Z-5500?
-
I mostly listen to music and any Logitech product is complete garbage for music compared to these Audioengine speakers. I also ditched my X-Fi soundcard in favor of an external USB Digital/Analog converter (DAC). Also I was unable to take full advantage of the surround sound as I did not have the rear channels behind me.
A stereo setup like this does fall a bit short on deep, rumbling base so video game explosions lack some punch. I'll probably add a subwoofer eventually.
