Assuming you have the Nvidia GO 7600:

    1. Unpack the downloaded file (using WinRAR, for example)

    2. Edit nv4_disp.inf using any text editor

    2a. After the line
    %NVIDIA_G73.DEV_0395.1% = nv4_NV3x, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0395
    insert the line
    %NVIDIA_G73.DEV_0398.1% = nv4_NV3x, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0398

    2b. After the line
    NVIDIA_G73.DEV_0395.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT "
    insert the line
    NVIDIA_G73.DEV_0398.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600"

    3. Save your changes in the original location, and run SETUP.EXE to install.

Compal has some new stuff at http://www.compal.com/asp/driver_dnd/e_download.asp?M_path=/Download/NB/HEL80_81/HEL80

Most of the items are not new, even though the date is current. However, there are a couple of genuine updates.

The one thing I find interesting is that with the new version of CSWALKER, both of my quick access buttons work. I've been "complaining" that although both buttons worked with BIOS 114b and 116b, button no. 2 stopped working with subsequent versions of the BIOS (I tested this more than once). So it is strange that now both buttons work again (BIOS 122b) just with a change to CSWALKER. I'm pleased.

I've had stability problem since installing this.
Of course not 100% sure it's due to this but reverted back to 8.3.0.1013.
    Will see what happens.

Nvidia 163.71_forceware available on Nvidia site, but to force it to install for the GO 7600 you need to apply the changes shown about 9 posts up.

    PowerMizer has two options:

    - Optimize my battery life (Enable Powermizer)
    - Not manage my power consumption (disable Powermizer)

Video & Television > Adjust video color settings has Standard, RGB Gamma, Correction, and Enhancements tabs. All appear to be usable.

The clue is: do those settings work?
Other drivers i tried had the settings, too, but they did not work!
Could you try to enable the Powermizer, close the dialog and reopen again?
Or, better, try to use NHC's Powermizer-Control function ... if the status doesn't change after a few seconds, the Driver doesn't support the Powermizer function correct.
Of course, there are several other problems ... no custom over/underclocking with RivaTuner and a non-working driver, the TV-Out must be tested, it's not possible to see if the TV-Out is working without a connected TV.

I think, i'm going to test the first two points, but i don't own a S-Video cable ... so i couldn't test it.

EDIT: Ok, i tried it ... and the driver failed. Like all other newer drivers than 84.85, they don't support Powermizer, Over/Underclocking and the TV-Out (last statement had been NOT checked). No one of my tries had been successful, i reverted back to 84.85.

I'm having trouble installing any sort of forceware. I've tried ForceWare 94.24 and Nvidia 163.71_forceware and each time, I disable service nvsvc32.exe like alphagamma says I should, but upon reboot, I get the windows loading screen, and right about when the login screen should show up, it just goes black.

I'm dual booting XP and Ubuntu, would that be an issue? I should think not since I can successfully boot to windows and begin to load it.

Don't know about Ubnutu, but following the instructions I provided earlier, the driver installs cleanly on XP, without having to do anything else.

What do you mean "driver failed", did you crash? I changed the setting, and when I closed the dialog I received a prompt asking if I want to apply the changes. I did, then reopened the Nvidia Control Panel, and the setting was as I had left it.

I'll try TV-OUT tomorrow, time permitting. Is there some specific function(s) here you're interested in?

Sorry, i meaned, that the driver did not pass my test ... maybe you have seen, that english is not my native language ;)
I tried to set the Powermizer-Settings in NHC ... the Control Panel offered me only to enable or disable the powermizer, not to control it's intensity.
NHC told me that the GPU is running with maximum power, independent from the chosen settings ... i don't know if that is right, but it is afaik the only way to read out the powermizer-state ...
    At this time, i don't need the TV-Out ... but i won't get stuck in a situation where i need the S-Video-Out an it doesn't work ...

    Touchpad:
Latest Version (v5.0.3.13), available as driver for the IFL90 (you can get it here).
If the setup is not working right (no KTP-tool in the systray, the mouse-settings-dialogue is windows-default), you could use this guide to install the driver.

Your English is fine, no need to make apologies :)

I tried TV out (S-Video), and I couldn't get the image on my LC TV to display in colour, regardless of settings. Perhaps one day I'll have more time to play with it, but for now it looks like something is not right.

Nvidia 175.16_geforce_winxp_32bit_english_whql available from Nvidia site - installs for the GO7600 without any modification (as has been necessary by some previous versions).

Intel Infinst 9.0.0.1007 available from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/detail_desc.aspx?agr=n&dwnldid=10884&lang=eng

Executing the downloaded file doesn't do much, so do the following:

    1. RUN the file using the -A switch to extract the files to Program Files\Intel
    2. Go to Device Manager > View > Devices by connection
    3. Perform a manual Update Driver for each entry under PCI bus. No, there won't be new drivers for all components, but you have no other way of knowing what is and what isn't updated. Use "Install from a list or specific location" then "Include this location in the search" and point to the folder containing the extracted files, according to your OS (subfolder ALL for XP, if I recall).
