Yes I ordered from Xopic on JUNE 21. No Tv tuner. I was just getting the barebone system, so maybe they think I'm somehow less important. I'm going to call them right now (pointless i think) and see if they have any explanation.

Ok, just got off the phone with Xotic. Got the standard answer of "within 2 weeks" that I've been getting for 2 months. Yay. They also assure me that no orders after mine have shipped... My patience has almost run out. If I didn't want this laptop so badly, I would probably cancel. I need to check in to getting it from my own company now that we have some of the WSXGA in stock as of yesterday.

I ordered the Sager NP2090 August 3rd. No blue tooth, no TV Tuner, and the WXGA (1280 x 800) "Glossy" LCD screen.

    It shipped today.

I know now that it was a huge mistake to go with the Compal instead of the Sager. If I had not changed my mind because of the warranty and went with the Compal on July 13th, I'd have had my computer a couple weeks ago. It looks like I'm not even in this shipment either. I'm running out of time.

I won't be getting my WSXGA IFL-90 from PBN's last shipment, hopefully the next. They did mention having the ASUS G1's in stock though.

I was hoping for it before September, but not going to keep my hopes up.

The G1's look nice, but just got my mindset on the IFL.

    So I'll just Wait.

We also have the new ASUS V1S-A1 available now.

We are still hopeful that we can clear out our back orders for the PowerPro J 10:15 by the end of the month, but newer orders may take until early September.

Just talked to PNB. My order date was July 24th (WSXGA+), and apparently I'm in the middle of the herd as far as waiting in line as concerned. I hope that helps anyone trying to figure out what their place is. At least PNB is pleasant to talk with, makes this whole waiting mess just a touch (but only a touch) easier =)

I ordered mine on July 20th and at this point don't expect to receive it until mid Sept. or later. It seems that the number of units a reseller expects to be delivered and what is actually delivered is always less. just going to lower my expectations on delivery date.

    Received my powerpro today!!!

I'm typing on it right now.. It's a beautiful laptop.. Only issue so far is that the upper left shows a considerable amount of flex...

Probably can be fixed easily with the tape method.. But doesn't bother me much at all.. I kinda like the spring in my type. :p

congrats dinesh2724...The reason you got it so fast is probably because of your WXGA screen, PNB is offering it as an alternative option to those who cannot wait any longer for WSXGA+!

Sager is still right on target with their earlier announcement with the only exception that they actually resumed shipping on the 14th, not the 20th.

They should have all pre-orders shipped by the end of the month, except those with TV Tuners that are still on back order. The only other thing that could, maybe, might slow things down is there is currently a shortage on the T7300 and T7500 processors.

Is there any difference between the PowerPro and the Sager?
Would changing my order with PNB to a Sager IFL-90 WSXGA+ make my wait any shorter?
Looks like a mirrored configurations to the PowerPro are priced very close.

I just talked to Ron and it looks like there will be a delay on getting future PowerPro WSXGA+ shipments. They just got in a big shipment of the Sagers though, so I'm going to be switching as I've at this point just waited way too long (ordered June 9th).

The only real difference between the two is the warranty they include:
    PowerPro 3 Year Warranty
Sager 1 or 3 Year Warranty

I ordered from PNB on June 20th so I feel your pain, but there is another slight difference. You can't get the SATA II GB/S Hard drive on the Sager(at least in the online configurator). Also might want to see if Sager gives you the matte screen option. Good luck with your sager and thanks for making my wait shorter.

Ordered a set of WXSGA+ bones from RJTech last night. Hopefully that won't be delayed.

When I get it, I will do a write up of how it was to build the unit.

Actually I believe that's just a typo. I talked to Ron and he's pretty sure it's the same HD. At least for the 200GB 7,200 RPM drive, since as far as I know there's only Hitachi making those size/speed drives :).

As for the matte... well I dunno O.O anyone know if the sager WXSGA+'s are matte?

Sager only offers the SATA I drives on the NP2090, and it is a Matte screen on the WSXGA+ version.

But another user from this thread:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=161378

says he ordered a V1 from PNB. He said they were there only for a short time. I would like to know because I ordered a Powerpro j 10:15 on August 6 and and am considering getting the Asus V1 instead. I would however like to know exactly what PNB would be offering and for how much. If it is not that much more expensive than the IFL90 I may spring for the Asus instead. If I get the Asus I would like to get it from PNB since I like them and they already have my money for the IFL90. The wait for the ASUS wouldn't bother me so much since I have to wait for the Powerpro/IFL 90 anyway - which is cool because I knew before I ordered it that it was backordered and I would have to wait quite a while for it. The wait for the Asus shouldn't be that much worse.

    To Robnelle:

The V1s used to be up on powernotebooks, I know because I was under the same mindset as and considered switching over to it. Not sure where it went.

I know you want to buy it from powernotebooks but you can take a look at gentechpc for a base understanding of how much the laptop would cost.

The V1S-A1 is already EOL (end of life) so we had to take it down. The new V1S-B1 should be coming in sometime after the middle of September.

    Hi,
Wont the only difference between the V1S-A1 and V1S-B1 be the processor? (T7500 vs T7700)

    Any news on delivery date?

That is what the specs say now, but the release date is still several weeks out so until they actually arrive we never know what might change.

We do have a very limited supply of the V1S-A1 available now.

I just called Xotic for an update and was expecting to the get the standard "2 more weeks" response, but instead they told me I'm one of the few who will be getting it next week! Yay! :D :D I can't wait!

In case your wondering, I ordered the IFL90 WSXGA barebone system on June 21st.
