    Minor LCD Problem

    Hi,

    I just acquired a 2nd hand Packard Bell Laptop. It doesn't any problems except with a minor problem. Could somebody tell me what the problem is and how can this be fixed. Thanks in advance :)

    The problem seems to be more obvious on white than black.

    Ah I am familiar with that problem. It is a horizontal line with a specific colour which you cannot get rid of it.

    You can try to things: try to move the screen like you would close it and open it. Maybe it will disappear.
    Or you can try to repair the notebook, I think there is a problem with the wires or a problem where the hinges are located.
