I plan on getting one if the Quad and 1 GB 9800m are available at 1499 Euros. That is about $2200 US. VAT and shipping would be ???

My family is in the UK and Italy. Hopefully it will be available in both countries so that I can order from wherever the tax is lower.

This has started to appear in 'first look' videos now. They are aiming for a January release, with a start price of £999.

Pity they couldn't get it on the market sooner, but looks like it will give good value for money for the European market.

It's up, on packard bell france and in store online.

3 models. 2 with P8400, one with DVD and one with BR, and one w/o BR and a 9400. Prices are 1400/1500/1600.

    Not sure about international shipping.

Its up in Sweden, but only in the physical store Media Markt. Its the model with P8400 and Blu-ray for roughly 1400 euro.

Specs can be seen on Packard Bells swedish site (not allowed to link).

With this pricetag its a pretty good deal, at least in Sweden, but Im hesitant to buy it since noone has tried it yet and Packard Bell doesnt have the best reputation.

Aaaah ... this laptop has exactly the specifications I want with matching looks but it is nowhere to found in the UK. Does anybody know where I can get this one, the usual outlets don't seem to have them???
